Role Overview

As a Product Manager, you will be crucial in executing product strategies that align with our company’s mission to revolutionise global banking and payments. The Merge roadmap is defined by a product-first approach and vetted by acquiring design partners. Key Responsibilities

• Execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Merge’s strategic goals.
• Publish product requirement documents with low-fidelity wireframes and measurable metrics to define success.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver innovative products. Most importantly, work as a team with other product managers.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
• Gather and prioritise product requirements from various stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.
• Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
• Monitor product performance and iterate based on feedback and analytics to continuously improve user experience.
• Drive API-first initiatives and ensure seamless integration with third-party systems.
• Act as the voice of the customer and advocate for their needs throughout the development process.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Relevant 3-4 years of experience in product management within a B2B fintech organisation and understand APIs.
• Experience in managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Proven track record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of product features.

Good-to-Have Qualifications

• Have been a PM for an API-first fintech platform and have familiarity with API management.
• Knowledge of the global fintech landscape and trends.
• Strong technical background or understanding of software development processes.
