Roles & Responsibilities

Selected engineer's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Maintaining UNIX user accounts and access managements,

• Good understanding of LDAP vs local IAM management.

• Setting up repositories and maintaining.

• Should be very comfortable with troubleshooting Linux-based systems on issues and failures with good grasp of the Linux command line

• Specialist knowledge in Unix Technologies – RedHat , SUSE Linux & SOLARIS.

• Good hands-on experience in parallel filesystems.

• Good understanding on basic networking technology e.g. TCPIP, ip multipathing, ip aggregation, DNS, DHCP etc.

• Comfortable exploring and testing new Open Source software systems should the need arise to solve particular problems

• Setting up and maintaining SUSE and Red hat Clusters with DRBD, Stonith and Coro sync

• Good knowledge in virtualisation/hypervisor technologies on various operating platforms e.g. VMWare, HPE Service Guard cluster

• Good understanding of the various enterprise technologies e.g. SAN, enterprise backup, enterprise monitoring etc

. • Good knowledge in handling NFS file systems and NFS servers

• Troubleshooting performance issues

• Shell, Power shell and python scripting

• Creating custom image based on the security requirements • Planning and executing security patches periodically

Education, Experience & other requirements

Ø Degree in Computer science, Information technology or any related discipline

Ø Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience into Unix server’s setup, administration, upgrading and support.

Ø Good verbal and written communication and able to manage key stakeholders i.e. project team, security, compliance and IT operations

Ø Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Selected engineer's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Performs Database Administration tasks in Oracle & MS/MY SQL. Also performs basic DBA tasks in

SQL Server and DB2 environments as necessary.

• Designs and builds simple to complex database structures from data models.

• Installs, configures and patches Oracle.

• Implements HA and DR systems using Data guard and RAC.

• Builds and manages Data Guard Physical/Logical Standby Databases using Data Guard Broker

• Provides rotating 24x7 on-call support for company's Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 environments as

necessary.

• Participates in design reviews as required to ensure database design meets application

requirements.

• Designs, maintains, documents and executes database utilities to provide information regarding

database activity.

• Proactively performs database monitoring and performance tuning tasks.

• Identify and provide solutions to performance issues in multiple database environments.

• Provides automation to standard DBA tasks. Able to develop scripts on UNIX and Windows

platforms as necessary.

• Reviews and enforces adherence to the company's Architecture, as well as database design and

usage standards.

• Understands database high availability technologies and guides the company in implementing

appropriate solutions.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & other requirements

• B.S. degree from an accredited university.

• Must have solid Oracle RAC , Golden Gate & Data Guard experience.

• 3+ years of extensive experience with Oracle database installation / configuration best practices

and Database upgrade/migration approaches.

• Experience installing, building, upgrading and supporting Oracle RAC environment, ASM,

Grid/Cluster.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the installation, configuration and

troubleshooting of Oracle products and patches, including Oracle 12c, RAC, ASM, Clusterware,

GoldenGate, Dataguard, Oracle Database Appliance (ODA), Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c.

• Experience in Oracle 12c RAC based environment - architecture, installation, building, upgrading

and maintenance of Oracle RAC based environment in production.

• Extensive experience in Oracle DataGuard replication and physical standby for Disaster recovery

• Working experience of Oracle Database Appliance.

• Strong knowledge of OEM 12C grid monitoring configuration.

• Strong working experience with RMAN configuration, Job maintenance and backup & recovery

• Experience in database problem identification, problem diagnosis and resolution.

• Experience in building data architecture models and enforcing enterprise architecture standards

and guidelines.

• Excellent communication – ability to explain a technical problem to management.

• Ability to work on high performing teams and deliver under pressure situations.

We are looking for a highly capable Node.js developerto optimize our web-based application performance. Collaborating with our front-end application developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions.

Full Stack Responsibilities:  Developing and maintaining allserver-side network components.  Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsivenessto front-end requests.  Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.  Designing customer-facing UI and back-end servicesfor various business processes.  Developing high-performance applications by writing testable,reusable, and efficient code.  Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.  Running diagnostic tests,repairing defects, and providing technicalsupport.  Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.  Recommending and implementing improvementsto processes and technologies.  Keeping informed of advancementsin the field of Node.js development.

Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in computerscience, information science, orsimilar.  At least two years of experience as aNode.js developer.  Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.  Knowledge of front-end technologiessuch as HTML5 and CSS3, Angular, Reactjs.  Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.  Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.  Availability to resolve urgent web application issues outside of business hours

  5. Must have good knowledge of Policy, workflow, group, and clients for Configuring the backup.
  6. Expertise in Recovering the backup data as per customer expectations.
  7. Must have good knowledge in the Recovery process from the file system, Database (SQL and Oracle) and VM backups.
  8. Should have knowledge in handling the reports in Networker
  . 9. Should have good knowledge in the Data domain. Should monitor the utilization and alerts.
  10. Should have good knowledge of Clone backup copies.
  11. Should have good knowledge in DDVE EMC Networker in Cloud environment.
