About the Role
Vegaworks Technologies is looking for a Business Development Manager to identify, qualify and convert B2B opportunities across AI training, AI adoption, software development and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Research target industries, companies, decision-makers and customer needs.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential B2B prospects.
- Generate opportunities through targeted outreach, referrals, events, partnerships and marketing leads.
- Conduct discovery calls and understand customer goals, pain points and requirements.
- Identify suitable AI training, AI adoption, software or product development opportunities.
- Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Coordinate with technical and training teams to shape suitable solutions.
- Prepare and coordinate proposals, presentations, SOWs, pricing inputs and RFI/RFP responses.
- Support commercial discussions and negotiations.
- Develop partnerships and business channels.
- Track customer feedback, objections, market trends and competitor insights.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in B2B business development, consultative sales, technology/services sales or related roles.
- Strong communication, active listening, discovery and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with CRM, pipeline management, prospecting and follow-ups.
- Ability to understand business problems before proposing solutions.
- Comfortable discussing AI, software and digital transformation at a business level.
- IT/software services, SaaS, technology, consulting, training or digital solutions experience is a plus.
