Technical Requirements
Any one Cloud Certification is madatory (AZ104 / AWS solution)
· Strong knowledge of application operations in cloud environments (Azure - Must , AWS understanding)
· Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
· Experience with incident management, RCA, and operational troubleshooting.
· Understanding of CI/CD concepts, tooling and ability to work with release teams.
· Familiarity with infrastructure components: load balancers, storage networking, DNS and certificates.
· Experience with automation and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
· Knowledge of application deployment patterns (blue/green, rolling, canary).
· Understanding of security practices: access controls, vulnerability handling, compliance alignment.
· Ability to interpret logs, metrics, traces, and performance data.
· Experience managing multi-environment application lifecycles (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod).
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, AWS CloudFormation for
environment provisioning and configuration consistency.
Functional Requirements
· Ability to ensure 24x7 application reliability and operational excellence.
· Manage end-to-end application lifecycle including deployments, configurations, and environment
health.
· Collaborate with engineering, CloudOps, and Security teams to ensure smooth operations.
· Own operational KPIs such as uptime, MTTR, change success rate, and SLA/SLO adherence.
· Perform release coordination, deployment validation, and post-release monitoring.
· Lead incident response, communication, and escalation handling.
· Participate in change management and risk assessments for all application changes.
· Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation.
· Drive continuous improvement for operational workflows and process maturity.
· Support audit, compliance, and security requirements for applications.
Oracle Endeca Production Support Engineer / Oracle Endeca Administrator
Location - Remote (10yrs)
Shift - IST
Duration - 6 Months
This is a production support-focused role responsible for maintaining and supporting a large-scale Oracle Endeca search platform across multiple eCommerce websites. Key responsibilities include:
• Manage and support a multi-site Oracle Endeca on-premise environment with dedicated Endeca applications and MDEX engines for each website.
• Administer, monitor, and optimize Endeca MDEX engines, DGraphs, Forge pipelines, and search/navigation configurations.
• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Endeca Forge-based data ingestion pipelines and custom ETL processes sourcing data from flat files.
• Support and enhance Endeca Assembler API integrations consumed by Classic ASP storefront applications.
• Analyze and resolve search relevance, navigation, faceting, and product discovery issues across multiple websites.
• Monitor and tune Endeca query performance, index performance, and system resource utilization to ensure optimal customer experience.
• Manage deployment, version control, and release processes using GitLab repositories for custom cartridges, scripts, and configurations.
• Work with Squid proxy infrastructure to troubleshoot caching, routing, latency, and availability issues between application and Endeca layers.
• Support daily batch operations and scheduling through Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) / OPC, including job monitoring, failure recovery, and dependency management.
• Perform Endeca index builds, deployments, rollbacks, and production validations in a controlled release environment.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents related to search availability, indexing failures, performance degradation, and application integration issues.
• Develop and maintain operational runbooks, support documentation, deployment procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with business, merchandising, infrastructure, and application teams to implement search enhancements and platform improvements.
• Participate in 24x7 production support and on-call rotations for critical search platform incidents.
