E-Hands Energy is an installer of renewable energy plants across multiple domains. The company claims to have installed solar, micro-wind turbines, hybrid solar-wind renewable energy and rural solar lighting solutions at over 300 locations. They were also a part of the ADB’s “Energy for All” program where they launched several initiatives that resulted in a reduction of 2500+ tonnes in carbon emissions.

Provider of Smart-grid technology, software on top of the existing power distribution layer. The additional layer is added through an IEMU device, such as SmartSense. The device has an in-built SIM card which sends out critical data such as consumption, pilferage and over-shoot of consumption limits to the consumer's computer, smartphone or any internet-enabled device. It uses a cloud-based data storage model for consumption analytics. Has 100+ industrial units / 450+ customers in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and some other states use the Ecolibrium product. Has also launched a Consumer Portal for BSES customers to track energy usage through a mobile application and set alerts for critical parameters. Incubated at the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A)'s Centre of Incubation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) as a smart-grid and energy management start-up. It is supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and funded by the IFC. Customers include Ranbaxy, Zydus, Fiat, Stovec, Mitsui among others. Raised $2.6M in a funding round led by Infuse Ventures, JLL Technology Ventures, and an undisclosed angel investor in July 2017.
