Qualifications:

Mandatory Qualifications:

1.     Bachelor's degree or equivalent HIT (Healthcare Information Technology) Cerner EHR or EHR platform equivalent work experience

2.     Must have experience in CCL (Cerner Command Language), Reporting, CCL Scripts, Discern Explorer, Discern Visual Developer, Extracts, Ops Job, Olympus.

3.     Programming experience in SQL

4.     Must understand Cerner Millennium Data Model.

5.     Must have experience in Cerner Implementation / Upgrade / Ongoing Support & Maintenance projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.     Discern Dev, DA2(Discern Analytics), custom components/Mpage custom components, Power Insight (PI)

2.     Experience in Data Engineering (Extract Transform Load)

3.     Client requirement gathering, analysis and documentation.

4.     Experience in data modeling, data governance, and or data architecture

5.     Basic knowledge of US Healthcare

6.     Experience with business analytics tools like Qlik View, Tableau, Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

The Director plays a critical role in guiding strategic technology investments for infrastructure, cloud and information security technologies and operates as part of a dynamic team under the Chief Technology Officer. The Director has responsibility for strategic technology planning and oversees team in Infrastructure Services and Information Security, while also playing an enterprise-wide leadership role.

What you’ll do: 

• Manage the vision, design and deployment of cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and network systems for cloud hosting; 
• Provide cloud hosting and data service management strategy, process, and procedures across the organization; 
• Manage the configuration and operation of Network and Edge devices and technology  
• Lead a consistent, measurable process to operationalize and scale cloud based strategic initiatives and execution; 
• Develop and mentor a high performing team of global professionals; 
• Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction related to cloud hosting service delivery; 
• Work closely with Data Engineering, Data Factory Operations and technology vendors to ensure SLAs are met and quality meets or exceed expectations;

About you: 

• Bachelor's degree in technology, business or a related field; 
• Minimum of 10 years of experience operating and managing Infrastructure with at least 4 years of experience in cloud computing (MS Azure) 
• Strong proficiency in Server, Storage, Networking, Edge, End User technologies 

• Proven track record of success in service delivery leadership and customer satisfaction 
• Strong understanding of MS Azure and the cloud computing market 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
