ntain is building Intelligent Blockchains to bring transparency and efficiency to capital market transactions, with an initial focus on asset-backed investments.

Asset-backed investment volumes—including mortgage-backed securities and other financings—have now reached pre-crisis levels. However, since the financial crisis, the only significant change has been an increased compliance burden, with little progress in transparency or operational efficiency.

Between the issuance and ongoing management of these investments, 4–8 intermediaries are typically involved, leading to annual costs exceeding $30B across securitization and other financing processes.
