• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Standups, Refinements, Retrospectives, Planning, and Requirement discussions)
• Communicate effectively, clearly, and thoroughly with the Scrum Team and Stakeholders
•  Provide innovative solutions to complex problems
• Design, develop and modify software applications/systems according to specifications
•  Develop technical documentation including services, object, and data model
• Create high-quality code and perform code reviews
•  Create unit and integration tests to ensure the code quality and functionality
•  Proactively learn and share knowledge of technology and compare the advantages and disadvantages of alternative solutions/technologies
• Help onboard new team members.

 

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred

Five or more years of experience with technical product configuration, design, and/or
integration using the following tech stack:

C#, ASP.net, MVC 4.5+, WCF, jQuery, Web API,

 Hands-on experience with Entity Framework and LINQ will be added advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands on programming work in C#, .Net, SQL, .net MVC (optional)
• Good to have experience on Microsoft Windows platform
• Ability to independently work on complex business requirements
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisel

As a Senior software developer you will:
➢ Design, implement and enhance new components of the Livspace design
platform and content management platform
➢ Design new features for the e-commerce properties and front-end products
and mobile apps
➢ Maintain engineering infrastructure
➢ Have significant impact on current and future technology roadmap
➢ Contribute creatively in strategic products that will reach large audience
➢ Build a web product that users love.
Who you are:
➢ You earned B.Tech or equivalent degree in computer science or related
engineering field
➢ You have at least 3+ yrs of experience working with large scale web
products
➢ You can learn new technologies quickly
➢ You have strong communication and collaboration skills
➢ You have prior ownership of the delivery of an entire feature/subsystem
You know your way around these:
➢ Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP
➢ Javascript, AngularJS, JQuery, HTML, CSS
➢ Object oriented programming with Java/Python/Ruby
➢ HTTP and REST web services

• 4 to 7 years of software development experience using Microsoft technologies • Programming experience using the .Net framework – including ASP.Net, VB, C#, LINQ, WPF, WCF, MVC, XML. • Technical design experience – translation of complex HLDs to lower level detailed designs • Ability to develop/refine accurate build estimates based on detailed designs • Experience in SQL Server (or similar) database design • Experience with TFS and Visual Studio products • Experience with researching and understanding an underlying application functionality and patterns to develop detailed designs • Experience with large scale waterfall development in a highly complex environment • Experienced with Agile development methodologies is desirable but not mandatory • Experience in the development of Financial Services application – particularly Wealth Management is desirable • Experience with development of web based systems (web, mobile) and integration experience is desirable
