You'll be joining an AI-native, fast-moving, and repeat founding team. Ritually's founders previously built and exited a startup (Involvio) to Cisco. The company is funded and working with design partners.

The Role

This is a founding full-stack role. You'll be building our application with the founding team from 0-1 You'll own features and infra end to end and across technologies. You'll also own how we build: ensuring our AI development workflow is fast, dependable and secure.

What You'll Do

• Build features end to end, across our desktop client, web app, and the backend services that tie them together.
• Go deep in our cross-platform Electron desktop client the native OS integration that powers on-device capture, and the on-device privacy and redaction that runs before data leaves the machine.
• Move fluidly across technologies and layers, picking up whatever a problem needs rather than staying in one corner of the stack.
• Own the infrastructure and deployment path CI/CD, releases, and the cloud services everything runs on so shipping stays routine and reliable.
• Own how we build: keep our AI development workflow fast, dependable, and secure and establish the conventions, tooling, and guardrails that let a small team build like a much larger one.
• Own observability and on-call basics logging, error tracking, and alerting so we catch issues before our customers do.
• Help set technical direction and keep the codebase legible as we scale the engineering team.

What We're Looking For

• 1-4 years building software across the stack frontend, backend, and the glue between them (internships and meaningful side projects count).
• Comfort working across multiple languages and technologies, and a genuine willingness to learn whatever a problem requires.
• Solid fundamentals in shipping production software version control, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Experience with, or strong interest in, owning infrastructure and devops: CI/CD, cloud services, and reliability.
• Genuine excitement about AI-native development you've used AI coding agents and want to push how far they can go.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to own problems end to end in a small team.

Nice to Have

• Experience building desktop applications (Electron or native).
• Experience building internal tooling or automation that made a team measurably faster.
• Experience building applications for on-premise deployment.
• Familiarity with managed backend platforms and AI agent tooling.
• Any prior early-stage startup experience.
• Degree in computer science or a related field.

Role

We are looking for a  Senior Software Engineer - Python, React to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products.

You should be comfortable around front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Ultimately, you’ll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• BSc/BE/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Must have 4+ years of work experience as a Python/Django (Back-end) and React (Front-end) developer
• Expertise in Django Framework. Other frameworks like Flask Pyramid knowledge are good to have
• Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS.
• Proficient in Terraform which allows migration to Kubernetes 
• Experience with DevOps toolchains such as Docker, Travis CI, Jenkins, Git.,
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
• Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git) 
• React experience is good to have
• Team spirit
• Good problem-solving skills

More than 3 years of experience with C# and .Net development, .net 4.5, Asp.Net MVC, Angular. .net Core.  

Must have strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Must have work experience with Angular, React

Working experience on Webservices, WebAPI, and REST are most preferred

Must have basic knowledge of SQL Server database with SQL query designing, procedure, functions, indexing, and triggers designing.

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude(Desirable)

Knowledge on HTML, HTML5, CSS, BootStrap, XML, JavaScript, JQuery is most preferred

Experience in working with source code repositories like TFS, GIT, Azure, etc

Experience in code release, merge, and conflict resolution

Experience in web publishing with IIS and Azure web Applications.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Hands-on experience in ReactJS 6.x+, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Node js
• 1+ years of experience in cross-browser compatible responsive web application development using React.
• Good knowledge about Reactive programming using RxJS and Redux.
• Knowledge and use of Restful web services, Gulp / Grunt.
• Experience working with debugging/testing tools like Firebug Lite, Chrome or Safari web inspectors.
• Version Control – GIT
• Servers / Application frameworks – Apache / Nginx / ExpressJS
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

• Ability to translate Wireframes and PSD to high quality designs and functional web apps using HTML5, ReactJS, Node.js, and Mongo
• Develop interactive, user-friendly applications using the ReactJS
• Binding of UI elements to JavaScript object models
• Creating RESTful services with Node.js
• Architect scalable web architectures
• Developing for Back-end Web Applications using NodeJS and Express
• Creating servers and databases for functionality
• API design, creation and integrations
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications, app development and programming languages
• Effective communication with different stakeholders.
