Review Criteria

• Strong Senior Angular Developer Profiles.
• Must have 6–8 years of experience in frontend development, with at least 4+ years in Angular 8+.
• Must have strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Must have strong test-driven development experience and proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, NUnit, Selenium.
• Must have strong experience in database technologies (MySQL / SQL Server / Oracle)

Preferred

• Must have 2+ experience with Web APIs, Entity Framework, and Linq Queries.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
• Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Angular 8 (2+) version with TypeScript and JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience in databases like MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Web API, Entity Frame work and Linq Queries.
• Must have good exposure on query writing and DB management for writing stored procedures/user-defined functions
• Implement new technologies to maximize application performance
• Design, Develop and Unit test applications
• High performance in the application by developing efficient code.

Secondary skills:

• Proficiency in .NET core framework, OOP, Web API, Linq, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript-Solid
• understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, including Design, Construction, Testing, and Deployment
• Experience in Driven Development using Nunit, Jasmine, and Selenium Proven track record of delivering high-quality work on time
• Strong unit testing skills to review own development and identify and fix defects before code release

Core skill required:

• In-depth knowledge of Angular 8 or above , Typescript, JavaScript , HTML, and CSS
• Should have adequate knowledge of API Development Technologies to guide the Team to develop the API code and get it tested
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor technical teams
• Should have good knowledge of the current Technology trends to implement techniques which can enhance the security, performance and stability of the product
• Should have good knowledge in preparing the Low Level Design and ensure the developers are having full understanding before commencement of work
• Good Knowledge of the DevOps process for CI/CD will be an added advantage
• Should have a solid understand of SDLC process using Waterfall, Iterative or Agile Methodology
• Good Knowledge of Quality Processes and Quality Standards
• Have experience in handling risk and providing mitigation strategies to the Product Manager

Primary skills:

As a Software Engineer - Frontend you’ll be part of the Frontend team, implementing beautiful web designs made by our designers to keep both our site and the internal web-based tools we use fresh and up to date on top of working on new projects alongside this, there is always something new and interesting to work on. 

Your Team Mates

The frontend team consists of both our frontend developers and designers, we work closely with all parts of the business to create tools that vary across the whole company, from the publishing team to create a portal for people to submit games, the marketing team on things like our website, all the way to our internal teams for things like administration and analytics.

What Does The Job Actually Involve?

• Implementing designs for our website/web tools created by our design team

• Create and update interactive interfaces used throughout the company

Your Hard Skills

• Minimum 2 years browser-based programming experience

• A proven track record of programming high quality and innovative web pages using Javascript, HTML5 & CSS3 and relevant frameworks (ideally ReactJS but could also be others e.g. AngularJS, NodeJS, Handlebars, jquery, gulp)

• An excellent working knowledge of various programming languages, databases and scripting tools including at least one of bash, MySQL, CouchBase, Python, Java, C#, JSP, PHP

• A creative mindset motivated by challenges and constantly striving for the best

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
