Role Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Apty, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge web applications and browser extensions that serve enterprise clients worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using the MERN stack framework.

We are looking for an experienced backend engineer to build the heart of our platform and services. We value skills over credentials, building things rather than what college or company you worked at and expertise over experience.

What does an ideal candidate look like?

• You have worked in a team to develop complex apps. Experience building SaaS apps is a strong plus. You can work on both backend and frontend, and you specialise in frontend engineering.
• You have 3+ years of full stack development experience, a large part of which is deep frontend development.
• You have extensive knowledge of one of Vue.js, React or Angular. We use Vue.js, but are open to working with people who have worked on modern JS stacks.
• You have extensive experience of working with RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of Git and other collaboration tools. Do you know and use git-flow? Do you have strong opinions about git branching and release strategies? Do you use CI? Good, we would love to talk to you.

• We would love it if you have experience with one or more of Firebase/Redis/Mongo/Postgres and other backend experience, but this is not required.
