UX Designer

Position: Android Developer (1- 4 years)

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Android Developer to join our mobile team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, user-centric Android applications. You will be instrumental in driving the technical implementation of our mobile strategy, ensuring high code quality, and leveraging the latest Android development best practices. You must have delivered at least 3-4 projects.

Required Skills (more the better):

• Kotlin Mastery: Strong proficiency in the Kotlin programming language, including experience with functional programming concepts, null safety, and extension functions.
• Android SDK & IDE: Deep expertise with the Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Architecture Components: Proven experience with key Android Jetpack libraries: Lifecycle, ViewModel, LiveData/StateFlow, Navigation, and Room persistence library.
• Asynchronous Programming: Extensive practical experience with Kotlin Coroutines for efficient background processing.
• Version Control: Expert knowledge of Git for source control management.
• Testing: Experience with automated testing methodologies, including unit testing and UI testing.
• Experience on Android Architecture Components – MVVM Architecture
• Experience with integratingRESTful API
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of Push Notifications & cloud-based messaging
• Understanding of security principles including secrets, encryption, etc
• Bonus Skills (Preferred): Experience with Jetpack Compose, Dependency Injection frameworks (e.g., Hilt/Dagger), and cloud service integration (e.g., Firebase), Local DB e.g., Room, Realm, etc

Responsibilities will include:

• Design & Development: Lead the design and development of advanced, feature-rich applications
• Quality & Performance: Write robust, well-tested code, conduct rigorous unit and integration testing (using JUnit and Espresso/Compose Testing), and continuously optimize app performance, stability, and responsiveness.
• Collaboration: Participate actively in code reviews, technical design discussions, and work closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
• Ensure the application is secure and free of vulnerabilities
• Evaluate third party IDEs and tools to build relevant applications.
• Conduct code reviews & peer reviews.
• Establish coding standards.
• Integrate user interface with code.
• Prepare necessary documentation.
• Review updates/patches and make necessary code updates.
• Develop apps for different versions of Android and ensure compatibility with different screen sizes
• Maintenance & Deployment: Manage application releases, debugging, and deployment to the Google Play Store, and maintain the build system using Gradle.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Opportunity Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with experience building Salesforce AppExchange apps to lead the development of Salesforce connectors for our marketing technology products.

What would you do?

·      Take a lead role in the design and implementation of Shopify connectors for our marketing products.

·      Collaborate with stakeholders in establishing application requirements, determining features, creating customer-friendly solutions, and determining support needs and performance requirements. 

·      Plan, design, develop, test, and deploy software to satisfy these requirements. 

·      Work according to the agile programming application development methodology adhered to including test-first, iterative development, and continuous re-prioritization.

Experience

·      3+ years’ experience in web application design and development 

·      Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience 

Primary Skills

·      Strong background in Front-end technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc. 

·      Experience with node.js

·      An understanding of User Experience and a background in building intuitive interfaces. 

Secondary Skills (nice to have)

·      Experience with Shopify integrations.

·      Experience building native apps for other platforms.

·      Experience with Salesforce APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, etc.

·      AWS ecosystem and tools, particularly developing for serverless environments.

UI/UX Developer Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain highly reusable Angular, JavaScript, HTML and CSS code.

• Translate user behavior and research into actionable data.

• Design and create mockups and user journeys for a wide range of devices including mobile.

Position Overview

Front-End UI/UX developer with the combined skillset of application design and web programming. Responsibilities will include converting the UI designs to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will be working on the UI/UX technical implementation of the application functionality.

To be successful in this role, you should have very good experience on programming and interaction with the backend. The team develops web application, mobile based application, which need to display graph, data and image in real time. The candidate should able to display huge data in an efficient way.

Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role

Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering (BTECH / BE) or Masters (MTECH / MS / MCA ) in Computer Science / Electronics / Information Science from reputed institutions

UI/UX Developer Requirements

• Proficiency with Angular, JSP, HTML, and CSS, bootstrap.

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch or other Graphics designing tool

• Good understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks like jquery, Node.js, React.js, Durandal framework.

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX developer or similar role.
