Telephony Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Hadoop clusters.

• Monitor cluster performance and ensure high availability.

• Manage Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, YARN, Ozone, Spark, Kudu, Hive).

• Perform routine cluster maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Implement and manage security and data governance.

• Monitor systems health and optimize performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support big data applications.

• Perform Linux administration tasks and manage system configurations.

• Ensure data integrity and backup procedures.

C, C++ , Linux , Device Driver , Linux Internals ,

Processor knowledge like Arm , Intel , Protocol SPI , I2C . Networking experience,

L2 protocols knowledge, knowledge on Python/Perl ,

Broadcom DNX/XGS device experience is desirable,

Summary:

The embedded systems engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains embedded systems. The engineer will identify and fix issues and work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and others on various teams. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and build embedded systems, including embedded system firmware
• Test and debug the systems
• Monitor and maintain the system after development
• Improve system efficiency and stability after development
• Collaborate with customers to create systems based on their needs

Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
• Professional experience in embedded systems
• Significant programming experience in C or C++
• Experience in trouble-shooting embedded systems and microcontroller peripherals
• Experience in working in real-time operating systems
• Experience in interfaces, IP protocols, and hardware subsystems
• Proficiency in working with common embedded systems communication protocols
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills
• Ability to work as part of a team

Requirements:

• Optionally should have some basic knowledge on C#, Python and Wireshark.
• Deep knowledge in Data Structures and Algorithms, using various debuggers (Local/Remote).

Additional Skills:

• Experience in working with Agile software methodologies (XP, Scrum, Kanban), TDD and Continuous Integration (CI/CD).
• Experience using no-SQL databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
• Prior experience with container orchestrators like Kubernetes is a plus.
