Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the backend development team, overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend systems using .NET Core.

• Develop and implement project roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client needs.

• Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.

• Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices for software development.

• Collaborate with other team leaders and stakeholders to plan and execute projects, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with overall business goals.

• Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies within the team, optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

• Oversee the development of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture, ensuring systems are scalable, maintainable, and secure.

• Guide the team in utilizing Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and operational processes.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of APIs and software components to facilitate maintainability and future development efforts.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology, introducing new tools and practices to keep the team at the forefront of software development. 

Additional Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Embedded C programming, essential for developing performance critical components.

• Extensive experience with Linux environments, including system configuration, network management, and security hardening.

• Expertise in writing and maintaining bash scripts, automating workflows, and system management tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend development using .NET Core.

• 2+ years of leadership experience managing a team of software engineers.

• Expertise in building RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

• Proficient in Docker container orchestration and cloud services (especially AWS).

• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.

• Demonstrated success in using Agile methodologies in a team environment.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Outstanding communication abilities, capable of effectively mentoring team members and collaborating with other departments.

• Develop front end User Interface of our UKLB Experience Analysis (Biometrics) tool using SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Logic Apps 
• Connection of UI with back end SQL Database using Logic Apps - Advise solution design as a Logic Apps expert (specifically around UI)

Skills and Experience

• Experience with Azure services like Azure App Services, Azure Active Directory, Azure SQL, Azure PostgreSQL, Key Vault, Azure DevOps, Application Insights, Azure Storage, Redis Cache

• Microsoft Azure Developer Certification

• Experience with .Net SDK, integration tools, Application and Security frameworks

• Preferred: Insurance or BFSI domain experience

Job Description

• Developing and supporting ASP.NET, C#, web applications, using MVC 5 and .NET Core
• Developing and supporting SQL database structures, using Entity Framework code first

Requirements

• 3 to 9 years of experience developing C# .NET applications
• Experience with .NET Core 2.1 and or 4.5, MVC frameworks, Web API, Entity Framework 6 or above
• Experience with SOLID design principles
• Excellent communication and documentation skills is a must
• Experience with agile development process including scrums, Kanban boards, sprint reviews, and backlog grooming sessions
• Experience with front end technologies such as Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end libraries such as VueJS, React, or Angular

We are looking for some one with 3+ Years of experience  with Microsoft technologies including.NET, ASP.Net Core MVC, C#, MS SQL Server. WPF, WCF C#, ASP.NET, XML, XSL, scripting languages including JQuery/JavaScript and HTML. 

Good to have knowledge with SQL Server 2012, indexing and queries and SSIS/SSRS.

Has Implemented Ajax Controls in C# . Net Projects

Complete understanding of MS SQL Database. Data modelling to visualize database structure.

Writing queries use for front‐end applications (websites, desktop applications, Mobile App or cloud apps).

Good understanding of Reviewing query performance and optimizing code.

Designing and coding database tables to store the application’s data.

Creating database triggers, stored procedures & functions.

Creating table indexes to improve database performance.

Has experience in writing unit tests & performing unit tests on own codes.

• To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review.

• Experience working with MVC framework.

• Hands on experience on various design patterns

• Experience in Unit testing development.

• Good to have experience on Team foundation server and Agile Development.

• Oversee and review code as required.

• Drive implementation and address technical roadblocks that the team is facing.

• Experience with diagnosing performance and/or memory issues is a plus, including using relevant profiler tools.

• Oversee and assist during system testing, UAT and deployment.
