 Senior Technical Consultant (Polyglot)

Experience- 5-9 Years

This is a Backend-heavy Polyglot developer role - 80% Backend 20% Frontend

Backend 

1. 1st Primary Language - Java or Python or Go Or ROR or Rust 
2. 2nd Primary Language - one of the above or Node

The candidate should be experienced in atleast 2 backend tech stacks.

Frontend 

1. React or Angular 
2. HTML, CSS

The interview process would be quite complex and require depth of experience. The candidate should be hands-on in backend and frontend development (80-20)

The candidate should have experience with Unit testing, CI/CD, devops etc.

Good Communication skills is a must have.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using programming languages such as Java.

Implement backend services using frameworks like Spring Boot and frontend interfaces using frameworks like React.

 Apply deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures to solve complex problems efficiently.

 Optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability.

 Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design, implement, and manage data storage solutions.

 Ensure data integrity and optimize database queries.  Leverage open-source tools and frameworks to develop scalable and maintainable solutions.

 Stay updated on the latest trends in open-source technologies.

 Utilize Linux systems for development and deployment.

 Automate and streamline processes using Linux tools and scripts.

 Develop and maintain mobile applications that align with user requirements and business goals.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with backend systems.

 Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to bring ideas to life.

 Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills:

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.

 Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.

 Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java.

 Hands-on experience with backend frameworks like Spring Boot and frontend frameworks like React.

 Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.

 Solid understanding of Linux systems and tools.

 Experience developing mobile applications is highly desirable.

 Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with hands-on expertise in Core Java, Angular/ React and SQL.
• Good expertise in microservices.
• Good experience in cloud platform, AWS preferred.
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts.
• Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following react.js workflows.

Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer or similar role
• Strong expertise in Java programming language and working Knowledge on Back-end technologies such as Spring/Spring Boot.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
• Experience with user interface design.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, MongoDB.
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing.
• Experience with at least one of the Cloud Services such as AWS, GCP, Azure are plus.

Critical Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with business analysts/product managers to estimate and design effective, scalable and maintainable solutions that meet business initiatives and objectives

• At least a year of Elastic search experience
• Experience developing RESTful web services (preferably micro services)
• Experience with UNIX/Linux command line and shell scripting
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams
• Any level of experience with JIRA or any other issue tracking technology
• Experience with Java application profiling and profiling tools
• Bachelor’s degree or the above equivalent skills and years of experience
• Should be able to manage end-to-end single handedly with prior experience
• Full stack developer overall with at least 9yrs experience.
