Responsibilities  Work across teams to organize and accelerate delivery by ensuring all teams are delivering in a coordinated manner.

 Understand the business strategy and design approaches within product, program or domain effectively.

 Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data / mechanisms for visibility, ensuring the program stays aligned with organization objectives.

 Proactively identify risks & issues and ensure mitigation efforts are being carried out throughout the software development lifecycle.

 Keep abreast of evolving technology landscape.

 Will provide technical leadership to software engineers by coaching and monitoring throughout end-to-end software development, maintenance and lifecycle.

 Analyse and provide input for the requirements and provide impact assessment for the features or bug fixes.

 Collaborate with external partner teams, business teams and other cross-functional teams effectively in driving the projects and the point of contact on the team. Job description

As part of our role at a leading global insurance company, we are responsible for developing and managing applications.

To reinforce our dynamic development team, we are seeking a skilled Full-stack developer. As a Full-stack developer, you will collaborate with an international cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solution.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain the application 

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code

Implement new features and functionality based on business requirements

Participate in system and application architecture discussions

Create technical designs and specifications for new features or enhancements

Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality

Debug and resolve technical issues and software defects

Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices

Identify and fix vulnerabilities to ensure application integrity

Working with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements 

Collaborating with DevOps teams for deployment and scaling

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a skilled Full-stack developer. Experience in Insurance domain is appreciated.

Strong experience with Terraform, Java (Spring Boot), AWS, GitLab and Angular, NGXS, State Management, Typescript

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.

Area of professional exposure (functional/technical skills) :

· Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Services (Data Flow/Cloud Run/Big Query/Cloud SQL Server/GCS etc.)

· Experience in deploying to GCP environments (Cloud Run/CaaS/OpenShift/Containerization)

· Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools and pipelines – Tekton, Terraform and Jenkins

· Experience with Java/J2EE frameworks, Web development and REST APIs/microservices development (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)

· Good exposure to GCP application developments.

· Hands-on experience with Angular (front-end development)

· Experience in using build tools like Gradle, Maven and Ant etc.

· Experience with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories

· Experience in developing data processing tasks using Spark/PySpark

· Good working knowledge of relational databases like MS SQL, Oracle etc.

This person MUST have:

• BE Computer Science, MCA or equivalent
• Cloud app development experience
• Strong Django and ReactJS experience
• Advanced knowledge of Python and relational databases
• Understanding of APIs, pagination, searching, sorting 
• Experience with building, modifying and extending API endpoints (REST or

GraphQL) for data retrieval and persistence.

• Creating high performance UI etc.
• Experience with SQL and NOSQL databases

• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including requirements

collection, design, implementation, testing, and operational support.

• Experience with scrum or other agile software development methodology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, decision making and

influencing skills.

Experience:

• Min 3 year experience
• Not more than 15 year experience.
• Startup experience is a must. 

Location

• Remotely, anywhere in India

Timings:

• 40 hours a week but with 4 hours a day overlapping with client timezone.  Typically clients are in California PST Timezone.

Position:
