This role is focused on Data Engineering, Pipeline Operations, and Platform Reliability. The candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines running on modern cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Apache Spark and Apache Flink.
- Manage workflows and orchestration using Apache Airflow.
- Work with Databricks for large-scale data processing.
- Monitor production pipelines and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Optimize Spark jobs and clusters for performance and cost efficiency.
- Build monitoring dashboards and alerts using Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and Platform teams.
- Support incident management and production operations.
- Document processes and mentor junior engineers.
