React.js Developer - Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on UI Developer with strong expertise in React.js and JavaScript to join our front-end engineering team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in developing scalable, high-performance, and user-centric web applications. You will be expected to contribute immediately, owning development tasks end-to-end — from design and coding to performance tuning and deployment.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive, high-quality user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and modern front-end standards.
• Optimize components for maximum performance and scalability across various browsers and devices.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI-related performance or compatibility issues.
• Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and continuously enhance the development process.

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end/UI development.
• Deep hands-on experience with React.js and core JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks/libraries.
• Experience with React hooks, state management (Redux or Context API), and component-based architecture.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of front-end applications with backend services.
• Experience with Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn, and modern build tools.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, agile environment.

 Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or React Native.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or React Testing Library.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience in performance profiling and accessibility (a11y) best practices

As a member of the development group, you will be primarily responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the product:  

• Help define and create full stack architecture and deployment using React- Django-AWS in an agile environment with lots of ownership and active mentoring 
• Work with the Product and Design teams to build new features to solve business problems and fill business needs 
• Participate in code reviews to create robust and maintainable code 
• Work in an agile environment where quick iterations and good feedback are a way of life 
• Interact with other stakeholders for requirement, design discussions and for adoption of new features 

• Communicate and coordinate with our support and professional services teams to solve customer issues 
• Help scale our platform as we expand our product across various markets and verticals globally

Work Profile:

• Delivering a complete front end application in Agular
• Ensuring high performance on mobile and browser with reusable and modular components spanning cross multiple projects
• Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and yourself
• Integrate with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
• Communicating with external web services for 3rd Party tools and services integration
• Requirement  
• 2+ years of experience and proficiency with Angular, JavaScript and HTML5
• Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Ability to provide SEO solutions and optimization
• Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed
• Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular

This person MUST have:

• BE Computer Science, MCA or equivalent
• Extreme CSS skills
• Experience with ReactJS or NextJS is a MUST
• Strong communication skills
• A strong passion for writing simple, clean and efficient code.
• Sound knowledge of clean code, no unused code, optimized code and more.
• Always starting with a document and then implementing in a systematic and organized manner
• Past experience as a frontend developer building modern JavaScript-based web applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, decision making and

influencing skills.

Experience:

• Min 5 years experience
• Not more than 15 year experience.
• Startup experience is a must. 

Location

• Remotely, anywhere in India

Timings:

• 40 hours a week but with 4 hours a day overlapping with client timezone.  Typically clients are in California PST Timezone.

Must-haves

• At least 3 years of experience working in frontend for desktop and mobile web.
• Familiar with design tools and convert them to actual code (HTML+CSS+JavaScript)
• Mastery in DOM Manipulation (including Jquery) and understand components, CTAs.
• Well-versed in other non-vanilla languages (ex. TypeScript)
• Well-versed in standard frontend framework (ex. ReactJS)
• Understanding of GraphQL APIs.
• Deep understanding of web technologies in various mobile systems
• Have empathy for the users you build for

Good to have

• Experience in the fintech industry
• Experience leading design and implementation of robust and secure web services.

• Instrumental in preparing SRS, detailed design document, case diagrams, data flow diagrams, class diagrams.
• Scripting and Programming for varied solutions.
• Constructing specifications and determine operational feasibility.
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback & experience on application deployment.
• Writing database script procedures, function & triggers.

• Must be well versed with software development lifecycle (SDLC) management with different project methodologies especially Agile methodology (Scrum).
• Strong Oops concepts, Entity Framework, Design Patterns bootstrap, Web/Windows Services knowledge.
• Working knowledge on C#, ASP.NET, MVC 4.0/5.0, LINQ, Javascript, JQuery, bootstrap, Web/Windows Services.
• Good to have knowledge of Angular JS.
• Must have worked on database like SQL Server/ MySQL.
• Working knowledge on google maps API or GIS would be an added advantage.

• 5-7 years of IT experience. B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/ IT or MCA would be preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Candidate should hold 60% & above in 10th, 12th and Graduation
