React Native Developer Job Description

We are searching for a brilliant, flexible React Native Developer to create novel Android / IOS apps that meet the needs of our target audience.

To this end, the React Native Developer's Responsibilities include writing and proofreading code, liaising with coworkers within and outside of their department, and monitoring customers' feedback. Over time, you will also be required to create app updates.

To ensure success as an React Native Developer, you should demonstrate proficiency in one of the mainstream programming languages, and a sound understanding of the traditional product life cycle.

React Native Developer Responsibilities:

Conceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on all types of Android/lOS devices.
Implementing measures to safeguard users' data.
Ensuring that the construction and presentation of your apps are congruent with the company's standards.
Proofreading your code and correcting mistakes before each app is released.
Collaborating with Ul and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order.

What you will do:

• Develop our mobile apps using Swift/ObjectiveC.
• Work with backend, frontend, and other developers to build out a customer-centric experience that will constantly evolve.
• Work with our designers and customer success team to create a seamless user experience.
• Respond to support team tickets as needed to resolve bugs and issues.
• Participate in contributing ideas, updates, and product development areas to the team.

Experience Range: 

3-5 years with technical hands-on experience in building a consumer mobile app. You must have shipped an app to the stores.

Technical Expertise:

• 3-5 years experience with iOS native apps.
• Strong knowledge of Swift and ObjectiveC.
• Strong command of JavaScript ES6.
• Know how to build (fairly) complex layouts without using any CSS frameworks.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills using data structures.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Bias for action shipping quality code quickly.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, 
• 4-8 years of hands-on Experience in React native js  
• Develop Hybrid Apps using React Native and integrate them with back-end services.
• Navigation model in Mobile apps.
• Minimum 3yrs of exp in building React native apps for android and iOS Solid understanding of iOS and Android ecosystems.
• Must have worked on hardware integration with the apps.
• Understanding of various navigation models in mobile apps Good at debugging, testing, performance optimization.
• Interpersonal skills: good team player, ready to take challenges ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Able to build and maintain awesome react native applications with good code quality
• Implement pixel-perfect UI's that match designs.
• Work with native modules when required.
• Have developed at least 1 iOS/Android app which has been deployed in both Appstore and Google Play
• Excellent understanding of solid coding skills in React Native)
• Have a good understanding of REST APIs

Engineers have experience:

• Expert experience with hybrid mobile application and plugin development using Cordova, PhoneGap
• Solid understanding of vanilla JavaScript independent of any framework
• Proven expertise in JavaScript tooling—debugging and build tools
• Good to have some experience with OpenCV and creating Cordova plugins. Awesome, if worked on some camera vision-related apps in the past.
• Experience with upgrading Cordova projects on iOS and Android.
• Experience with task automation frameworks like grunt in mobile app development tooling together with Xcode and Android SDK
• Experience with salesforce mobile cloud iOS and Android SDKs is a plus
• Experience with Native iOS & Android development is a plus
• Should have expert level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
• Should have strong debugging skills on Developer Tools of the browser and working with cross-browser UI.
• Unit and UI testing frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, Protractor, etc.
• Should have experience in Response / Adaptive Web Design for desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Good understanding of CSS preprocessors LESS/SASS.
• Must know about the complete deployment cycle (Alpha - Beta - Prod) on the App Store and Play Store.
• Provisioning DevOps tooling and continuous integration
• Driving development best practices, including unit testing, coding standards, and code reviews
• Capable of implementing industry best-practices related to mobile application development concepts, design, and architecture

Preferred experience includes:

• Familiarity with other front-end development such as Angular,  React or Vue
• Good to have task automators like Gulp and Grunt
• System monitoring and security design and implementation
