Job Description:

We are seeking an innovative Senior iOS Developer to lead the development of our industry-leading energy workforce navigation app. You will play a key role in understanding the navigation domain and collaborate with us to craft new features that meet the evolving market demands. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record in iOS development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance Optimization: Address performance issues to ensure the app runs smoothly and efficiently.

Required Expertise:

• Swift and Objective-C: Demonstrated mastery in Swift and Objective-C.
• Data Management: Extensive experience with SQLite and Core Data, including optimization.
• GPS and Location Services: Proficient in integrating GPS and location services to enhance the user experience within the app (experience in building navigation features is a plus).
• Optional Skills: Familiarity with GraphQL and experience with subscription management in the App Store are advantageous.

1. We are looking for Android wizards who can work with designers, product managers to collaboratively own Android development, building responsive and elegant mobile+tablet UIs at Mobishaala. Bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

 Proven working experience of minimum 3+ Years in Android app development (Min 2Yrs. experience in Kotlin)

- Have strong knowledge in Kotlin and Java.

- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

• Own the delivery of multiple features of the product end to end while hands-on in development as well
• Advocate best development practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, automation (testing and infrastructure) and code modularity, extensibility, quality
• Adopt security- first approach in the product development and ensure automated and manual security checks in place across the delivery pipeline
• Lead by example and mentor other developers in the team both technically and professionally
• Support other Senior Product Engineers and contribute to their growth professionally
• Work with  tech leads and the team to ensure shared technology vision and develop state of the art design and architecture for any product development
• Work with other functions such as testing, analysis, infra management, support to ensure faster delivery of products
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with broader team in order to share understanding of product functionality, features, and technology vision

• Must have extensive hands on experiencing designing and building mobile applications on Android
• Must have excellent programming, debugging and scripting skills with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles

Passion for all things Mobile and have built complex Mobile Applications with React Native for at least 2 years. Have shipped apps on either the iOS App Store or Android Play Store, and are intimately familiar with their workflows. Comfortable with jest for writing unit and integration tests / appium for end-end testing. Intuition for usability and UI design, with an ability to balance polish with the constraints of timing and scope. Curiosity to remain updated with the newest technologies and frameworks. Comfort with any of WebRTC/Backend Stack/React JS is a strong plus. Most importantly, love coding!

• Strong understanding of the OOPS concept.
• Working experience in Java and Kotlin language. (Must)
• Knowledge of Offline Sync, Multithreading, Realm/Room/SQLLite databases, Live data, Socket Programming. (Must)
• Familiar with Android Jetpack components (Must)
• Idea/Experience of MVC/MVVM and MVP
• At least 1 live application on Playstore. (Must)
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to have

• Idea/experience in RxJava, RxKotlin
• Idea/experience of unit and instrumentation testing in Android
• Knowledge of Web RTC.
• Experience with tools like Git, Jira, Basecamp, BitBucket, Azure DevOps would be an advantage.
• Good to have experience working with IOT projects, Bluetooth technologies
• Active Open Source, GitHub or Stack Overflow contribution will be a big plus
• Having personal apps in play store will be an added advantage
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends & emerging technologies.
