Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient PHP code.
• Develop high-quality web applications and APIs using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in PHP development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer, preferably in a senior role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Magento, Wordpress, Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Sound understanding of object-oriented PHP programming and MVC design patterns.
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• ​Design and develop highly scalable, reliable and fault tolerant systems ​
• Understand the customer needs, design & implement
• ​Envision project goals, product architectural solutions with a high focus on detail to ensure successful implementation
• ​Articulate complex problems communicating viable architecture and design approaches in a clear and concise manner
• ​Enhance the agile SDLC within the Development Team through new learning, continued growth, and applying industry best practices and processes

Qualifications-

• ​Minimum 2 years of software development experience in backend
• ​Hands on experience with PHP using CodeIgniter and Javascript (Angular/ React)
• Database technologies - SQL and/or NoSql
• Experience in developing REST APIs
• ​Knowledge of VCS using SVN/ GIT and Payment Gateways
• ​Expertise in design principles and their application
• ​Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms ​ Fast Learner & a Team Player

• Preferably 5+ years of experience in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, & PHP) development stack
• Proven software development experience in PHP and of developing REST (JSON) / SOAP (XML) based web services
• Experience in Cloud platform like AWS/Azure
• Experience with HTML5 / JavaScript (JQuery) / CSS / AJAX / Angular / Yii Framework is preferred
• Experience in caching solutions like Redis and Memcached
• Experience in tools like Ansible, Docker
• Knowledge of source control systems such as GIT is a plus
