Job Description:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in backend development, with proficiency in Python and/or Golang.
• Strong experience in front-end technologies, particularly React.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward tackling challenges

Job Description:

At Helios Tech Labs we are looking for a Full Stack Developer with <2 - 5 yr Exp> to build and maintain functional websites and applications with highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming.

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience building web-apps from scratch and in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages:

Responsibilities:

• Identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Prioritize software development projects, set timelines, and assign tasks to team members.
• Write or review code for various applications.
• Run functionality testings and debug code.
• Oversee junior web developers and evaluate their performance.
• Liaise with designers to decide on UI/UX elements (like graphics and navigation buttons).

What you need to have:

Requirements:

- Knowledge of digital ad tech ecosystem

- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a professional environment on full-stack development

- Proven expertise in creating and developing scalable enterprise or B2C web applications

- Experience in REST API development and MVC/MVVM development methodologies

- Deep understanding of the underlying architecture of web servers, load balancing, and browser nuances. Basically, a solid understanding of fundamentals - including execution models, asynchronous programming, object-oriented concepts, relational concepts, etc.

- Proficiency in one or more of Node.js/MEAN stack, Python, Java or other frameworks and willing to be flexible on stack as per the requirement of the project. Most of our current development is on the MEAN stack - expertise in the stack will be a definite plus

- Proficiency in one or more of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra or other equivalent databases and willing to be flexible as per the requirement of the project. Most of our current development is on MongoDB and MySQL - expertise in these will be a definite plus

- Good understanding of developer tools and devops such as Git, Ansible, cloud platforms such as AWS, Docker, etc.

• Participate with the senior developer in the entire application lifecycle, designing, coding, testing, debugging to deployment.
• Implementing designs and coordinating the frontend development and required backend for it.
• Work on back-end development tasks and designing the architecture for the same.
• Efficient usage of database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis etc. as part of the dev work.
• Perform research and find opportunities to utilise web development best practices, form guidelines to improve system productivity, and work on scaling and monitoring.
• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and make sure the product should be scalable, maintainable and secure.
• Coordinate with multiple junior team members for the development of the tasks & projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience working as a Full-stack developer or Backend but knows Frontend technology.
• Proficiency in Javascript Frameworks like React and thorough knowledge in CSS skills is an added advantage.
• Built an application from scratch earlier.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of any backend language such as Python, Java etc.
• Experience with Backend Web development.
