Oracle Planning Functional Analyst

Need min 6+ years of experience in implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Planning solutions. Candidates should have strong expertise in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain Planning (SCP), along with hands-on experience integrating Planning modules with other Oracle Fusion applications. The ideal candidate should have implementation experience, strong business process understanding, configuration and testing expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective planning solutions. Exposure to SQL/PLSQL and Oracle SCM processes is preferred.

Planning roles:

2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST during the U.S. Daylight Saving period (approximately March to early November each year) / 3:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight IST during the non-Daylight Saving period (approximately November to the end of February each year).

• Configure, maintain, and support Oracle RMCS (Revenue Management and Contract Management) based on business requirements.
• Analyze and independently resolve RMCS functional and technical issues, defects, and production incidents.
• Perform root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, configuration changes, and technical fixes for RMCS-related issues.
• Manage RMCS setup and configuration, including revenue contracts, performance obligations, allocation, revenue recognition, and accounting rules.
• Understand and troubleshoot the end-to-end data flow between Oracle EBS and RMCS across various business scenarios.
• Analyze EBS-to-RMCS interfaces, integrations, transaction flows, and data synchronization issues.
• Develop or modify technical solutions using SQL/PLSQL, APIs, interfaces, and other Oracle technical components where required.
• Support integration-related issues involving Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, RMCS, AR, GL, Order Management, and other upstream/downstream systems.
• Validate configuration and technical changes through unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
• Work with functional and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into RMCS configuration or technical solutions.
• Perform impact analysis for RMCS enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes.
• Monitor RMCS processing and investigate failed transactions, incorrect revenue recognition, accounting discrepancies, and interface errors.
• Support implementation, enhancement, migration, and production support activities for RMCS.
• Prepare technical/functional documentation covering configuration, integrations, issue resolution, and business processes.
• Ensure solutions follow Oracle RMCS best practices while minimizing unnecessary customization.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS PTM/SCM Functional Consultant with 8–10 years of experience in Oracle Supply Chain Management, with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud Inventory and secondary expertise in Oracle Cloud Costing.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working in Oracle Cloud environments, with the ability to understand business processes, prepare functional documentation, support technical development teams, and work on integrations, migration objects, and reports. Prior experience in Oracle EBS is preferred, while strong and recent Oracle Cloud SCM experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Inventory, with Oracle Cloud Costing as a secondary area.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Cloud SCM functional solutions.
• Work as a Functional / Techno-Functional Consultant across Oracle Cloud Supply Chain processes.
• Configure and support Oracle Cloud Inventory and Costing modules based on business requirements.
• Prepare detailed functional design documents for RICE objects, including reports, integrations, conversions, extensions, and other custom requirements.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams and provide functional specifications, clarifications, and development support.
• Support the design and implementation of custom integrations between Oracle Cloud and boundary applications such as WMS, 3PL, and other Supply Chain applications.
• Work on integration requirements specifically related to Inventory and Costing processes.
• Support data migration/conversion activities, including defining migration requirements, data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
• Provide functional support for custom reports and interfaces, including requirement analysis and functional validation.
• Participate in solution design, testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production support.
• Understand end-to-end Oracle Cloud SCM business processes and their impact on Inventory and Costing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, integration teams, and other functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Support SIT/UAT activities and assist in resolving functional and integration issues.
• Ensure proper documentation of business processes, functional specifications, configurations, test scenarios, and solution designs.

Mandatory Skills

• 8–10 years of overall experience in Oracle SCM / PTM.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Inventory.
• Good working experience in Oracle Cloud Costing as a secondary module.
• Proven experience working as a Functional Consultant in Oracle Cloud environments.
• Strong experience in preparing functional design documents for RICE objects.
• Ability to work closely with technical/development teams and provide functional guidance during development.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Supply Chain processes.
• Exposure to integrations with boundary applications such as WMS, 3PL, and other external Supply Chain systems.
• Ability to work in a Techno-Functional capacity.
• Exposure to custom integrations, migration/conversion objects, and reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Good to Have

• Prior experience with Oracle EBS SCM and related Supply Chain modules.
• Experience transitioning or supporting solutions across Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant Oracle certifications will be an added advantage.

• Designing Oracle Fusion Receivables process flows to handle data migrations, transformation and orchestration of Interfaces between third party systems and Oracle Cloud.
• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining expert level skills on Fusion Receivables.
