Role Summary
As a Market Research Intern, you will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing data to provide actionable market insights. Key Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis:
- Conduct extensive primary and secondary market research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and target audience behavior.
- Synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative data into structured market intelligence reports.
- Competitor Analysis & Benchmarking:
- Continuously track and evaluate key industry competitors, looking at their product features, pricing structures, marketing tactics, and market positioning.
- Build and maintain detailed competitor analysis frameworks and SWOT matrices for internal strategic reviews.
- White Paper & Thought Leadership Content:
- Assist in drafting, proofreading, and structuring deep-dive white papers, case studies, and industry insight documents.
- Conduct rigorous data validation and literature reviews to ensure technical accuracy and credibility in published documents.
- Data Aggregation & Reporting:
- Collect numbers and statistics from research databases, financial filings, and industry journals.
- Design clean, easy-to-digest data visualizations and slide decks to present findings to leadership stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Final year student or recent graduate with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Research Aptitude: Strong ability to separate high-quality data from noise using secondary research tools, industry journals, and reliable analytical frameworks.
- Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in analyzing numerical data, identifying patterns, and drawing logical, unbiased conclusions.
- Technical Writing: Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to write in an objective, professional, and structured tone (essential for white papers and reports).
- Tools: Proficient with MS Office / Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets for data tracking and PowerPoint/Slides for presentations). Exposure to data visualization tools (like Power BI or Tableau) is a major plus.
