JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Requirements:

• Strong experience in Back-End Web Development, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Must have 4+ years of experience in Laravel, CodeIgniter, or other MVC frameworks
• Should have knowledge of Agile Process & Knowledge of Web Application Security concepts.
• Database experience of at least one of the following: PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Must have experience of Laravel Queue Jobs, Seeders, Migration and factory files, Service Providers.
• Should have Experience of creating schedules and artisan commands in Laravel.
• Should be very strong with Object Oriented concepts, design and architecture.
• Basic Database conceptual knowledge such as DDL, DML and their usages.
• Knowledge of Ecommerce, payment gateway, Webhooks & API integration.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Experience with Google Map API, Firebase API, and AWS is plus.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Bitbucket)
• Experience with agentic coding workflows using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development environments is a plus.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

(i) Minimum education qualification of MCA/ MSc (Computer Science)/BE/BTech (computers/ IT).

(ii) Must have at least 2.5 to 5 years of experience in application development, deployment, and testing. He/ She must possess a valid MySQL Developer or Java Developer certification, which is obtained at least six (06) months prior to the date of award of the contract to the firm.

(iii) Knowledge of Software Management Life Cycle and Software Testing viz unit testing, system testing & Integration Testing, etc.

(iv) Knowledge & hands-on experience of PHP & My SQL is a must. Additional knowledge of Post GreSQL, Typescript & Lit element, Java with Hibernate and Springs, SQL Server, Apache Tom Cat Server & relevant open-source technologies is required.

(v) Individuals must have hands-on experience in server operating systems viz Windows Server OS and RHEL. Knowledge of security concepts of web applications & Networking for undertaking necessary troubleshooting wrt applications accessibility.

(vi) Knowledge of Mobile Application Development

Key Responsibility Areas:

1. Creation of new Course No, Term, and Term type at the beginning of each term. All associated Database tables and software procedures and functions are updated and recompiled.
2. Management of Data Entry and Information access right to various users.
3. AMC includes bug fixing, updating of application for any small policy changes.
4. Regular Patch/update installation and coordinating with MIS team for identification and resolution of issues wrt application functioning and deployment
5. Implementation of Cyber security policies and hardening of application
6. Development of New functionalities in the application
7. Regular Testing of running application functionalities and undertaking unit and integration testing of newly developed components.
8. Support for making changes in the NDA internet web portal.
9. AMC includes backing up of software, and database and storing it in other locations every week
10. Online Multimedia Management System
11. Software Wise Charter of Duties
12. Cadet Suggestion/ Complaint Management System

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with the design team to discuss the needs of the company.
• Building and configuring Magento 2 x eCommerce websites.
• Coding of the Magento templates.
• Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
• Designing themes & interfaces.
• Setting performance tasks & goals.
• Troubleshooting integration issues.
• Updating website features & security patches.
• Expert in writing quality code following web standards and unit testing.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with strong communication, collaboration, and analytical solving skills.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Magento 2 CMS, and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery
• Depth knowledge of Magento CMS, PHP5 AJAX, JQuery, Javascript, OOPs. HTML5 CSS3
• Experience with Theme Integration, Customization, Third Party API Integrations.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL scripting and My SQL database administration.
• Sound understanding of OOP and MVC development.
• Hands-on experience on customization of Magento Themes, Magento Modules Development, Extension Development
• Experience in customizing Magento s front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates.

Skills required:

1. PHP 7.x, MySQL 5.x

2. Must have experience of 5+ years with core OOP

3. Must have experience in MVC framework Laravel ( Must ) , CakePHP (2/3), CodeIgnitor, deep understanding of MVC architectures etc.

4. jQuery, BootStrap, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, AngularJS.

5. Must have Version Control knowledge of Git (preferred), SVN.

6. Must have experience in REST, SOAP API creation and integration for mobile applications.

7. Must be good in scalable programmng and coding PSR standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Ability to handle work independently.

2. Ability to work with large database, can create database and optimize.

3. Able to communicate easily with iOS and Andriod teams.

4. Can solve technical issues and have strong debugging skill.

5. Ability to build strong architecture and analytical skills.

6. Know SDLC and Agile development methodology.

7. Can use latest collaboration tools like Jira, BitBucket, Confluence.

8. Must have developed on SaaS base web applications and enterprise applications.

9. Must be knowing about current technology trends.
