About the Role

Websites.co.in is looking for a Full Stack Developer Intern to support our engineering team across backend and frontend development. You will work on real product features and fixes across our website builder platform used by small businesses globally. This role is designed for learners who want practical full stack exposure.

You will mainly assist, build small modules, fix bugs, and improve existing features under guidance.

What You Will Do

• Assist in building and updating features using basic PHP and Laravel
• Work on simple database queries and data handling
• Help create and modify REST API endpoints
• Build and improve basic responsive UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Connect frontend pages with backend APIs using AJAX and JSON
• Fix minor bugs across frontend and backend code
• Support simple third party API integrations
• Use Git for basic version control tasks
• Learn and work with existing codebase and modules

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of PHP and any MVC framework preferred
• Basic understanding of Laravel concepts is a plus

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)

Build reusable, efficient, and scalable front-end components using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)

Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.js

Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies in both MongoDB and PostgreSQL

Implement caching strategies using Redis to improve application performance

Design and maintain relational database models with PostgreSQL, including complex queries, transactions, and stored procedures

Required Candidate profile

• Good communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of MERN technologies.

• 12 to 16 years of experience in enterprise level software architecture, design, development (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
• Experienced in Full Stack product development
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field
• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and problem solving.
• Extensive knowledge and deep understanding of Java and related technologies
• Experience with modern software development methodologies: Agile/Kanban, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.
• Proficiency in Full Stack product development
• Proficiency with Java is essential.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML CSS is essential
• Proficient with REST APIs
• Proficient with product development experience on both front end and back end
• Experience with AWS and/or other public cloud technologies.
• Database Experience (query optimization, index generation, caching) or NoSQL DBs a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience participating in the delivery of technology services.

• Strong Experience in technologies like Node, Webservices and Microservices
