MERN FRONTEND Product Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Next.js, Node.js, and Firebase to lead our CMS development and architect scalable web applications. This role requires proficiency in modern frontend technologies along with a robust understanding of dynamic programming and application architecture. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in both design and implementation, using popular libraries and tools such as shadcn, Tailwind CSS, Mantine Form Library, React Table, React Select, Axios, and Redux Toolkit.

Key Responsibilities

    CMS Development & Maintenance:

        Architect and develop a modern CMS using Next.js integrated with Firebase and Node.js backend services.

        Ensure dynamic content rendering, efficient data handling, and seamless user interactions.

    Frontend Architecture & Design:

        Design and implement scalable, high-performance frontend architectures using best practices in code modularity, reusability, and maintainability.

        Integrate and configure modern libraries and frameworks (e.g., shadcn, Tailwind CSS, Mantine Form Library) to enhance UI components and overall user experience.

    Dynamic Programming & Problem Solving:

        Apply dynamic programming principles to optimize code performance and manage complex data interactions.

        Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs using Axios and manage state effectively with Redux Toolkit.

    Tooling & Library Integration:

        Utilize React Table and React Select for advanced data display and interactive UI components.

        Leverage Node.js for server-side development and streamline workflows using Firebase services.

    Collaboration & Code Quality:

        Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate visual designs into functional, responsive web applications.

        Conduct code reviews, implement unit testing, and maintain continuous integration pipelines to uphold high coding standards.

    Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

        Stay updated with the latest trends in web development, particularly in the Next.js, Firebase, and Node.js ecosystems.

        Identify opportunities to improve system performance and enhance user experience through innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications

    Technical Proficiency:

        Strong experience in Next.js, React, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

        Hands-on experience with Node.js, Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions), and server-side rendering (SSR).

        Proficiency in dynamic programming concepts and advanced algorithmic problem-solving.

        Expertise in integrating and utilizing:

            shadcn for component management.

            Tailwind CSS for utility-first styling.

            Mantine Form Library for building and managing forms.

            React Table and React Select for creating dynamic, interactive data components.

            Axios for API integration.

            Redux Toolkit for effective state management.

    Frontend Development Expertise:

        Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

        Experience with state management, performance optimization, and modern frontend tooling.

    Collaboration & Communication:

        Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

        Ability to work in an agile environment and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

    Experience with static site generation (SSG) using Next.js.

    Familiarity with build tools such as Turbopack

    Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices (Git).

Education & Experience

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

    Experience: 2 -3 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on modern JavaScript frameworks, CMS solutions, and integrating diverse libraries and technologies.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript ES6 and above.

• Expertise in styling with CSS3.

• In-depth experience with React or a similar front-end framework. Candidates with only hands-on experience will not be considered.

• The ability to design and create reusable UI components.

• Willingness to complete an online coding exercise as part of the interview process.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Understanding of accessibility standards and experience implementing accessibility solutions.

• Experience with Git and version control practices.
