MEAN Stack Developer Senior

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using Python, NodeJS, and Golang.

• Design and implement robust messaging and event-driven systems with Kafka.

• Optimize and manage databases, including Postgres and MySQL.

• Integrate and manage caching solutions such as Redis for high performance data access.

• Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker and Linux.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and troubleshoot issues.

• Explore and experiment with AI/LLM technologies to enhance product offerings.

• Contribute to DevOps processes and infrastructure optimization.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software development.

• Proficiency in Python and NodeJS.

• Advanced expertise in Golang, Kafka, Docker, Linux, and Postgres.

• Intermediate knowledge of MySQL and Redis.

• Familiarity with AI-LLM technologies and willingness to grow in this area.

• Experience in DevOps tools and practices is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 1-5 years of experience in a full stack software development role.
• Experience in technologies - PHP, Bootstrap, Vuejs and MySQL.
• Knowledge of Cloud services (GCP/AWS), MongoDB and Nodejs is a plus.
• Experience of working in an Agile environment
• Ability to design for scale and performance

• We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer with exceptional development skills, who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. You’ll be part of a cross-functional, remote team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
• As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.
• You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver robust and scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

• Translate user requirements and wireframes into ecient and responsive front-end components while ensuring high performance and usability.

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js, ensuring smooth integration with the front-end components.

• Design and implement data models, schemas, and queries for MongoDB, and manage database interactions effectively.

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

• Perform unit and integration testing of both front-end and back-end components to ensure reliability and quality of the application.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues that arise during development, testing, and deployment phases.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance application performance, security, and maintainability.

• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers when necessary.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.

This position is for a product we have been building for 4 years now, for a long term customer of ours. The Codebase is well maintained, with a rails backend and a react frontend. 

If you are someone who has invested time into writing reusable rails or nodejs modules, who has written ruby gems or npm packages, you feel at home working with us.

Required Knowledge:

1. How Web backends or Rails works
2. Mastery over ORMs or Active Record Migrations, Validations
3. Good knowledge of writing encapsulated business logic

Interview Format

Two coding rounds of 45 mins each.
