Lead iOS Developer

We’re looking for a Mobile Engineer(SDE2 &SDE3) with strong iOS expertise to build and scale high-performance, consumer-facing mobile applications at Snabbit

🔹 Must Have:

3–8 years of mobile development experience

Strong hands-on experience in iOS (Swift)

iOS + Flutter preferred combination

If not Flutter, React Native + Swift is also good

Solid understanding of mobile architecture (MVC/MVVM), API integration & performance optimization

Experience shipping apps to the App Store

You will help the team in building an awesome product with your optimized code. You are biased towards open-source tools and existing frameworks. You have assisted in shipping applications with beautiful front-end and intelligent back end. Responsibilities

Develop cutting edge native Android or iOS applications for the mobile platform Build, test, maintain and enhance mobile apps having elegant and efficient UI/UX to enhance client experience Own features from their ideation, design, development, test, release and maintenance Be a resident expert of new trends and implement the latest Android/iOS features to maximize application performance Maintain high standards of quality and responsiveness through technical design analysis, code reviews and test automation Collaborate with a talented team of product managers, engineers, and designers Demonstrate high level of ethics, dedication and teamwork

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field 8 to 10 years of experience in developing native Android or iOS mobile applications Strong knowledge of programming language in Swift or Java/Kotlin, SQLite and IDE like XCode or Android Studio Hands on experience in using Location Based Services, REST Web Services Integration, FCM, Firebase and Battery Optimization Techniques Strong experience in memory management, performance tuning and resource optimization Deep knowledge of mobile automation and unit testing frameworks Proven ability to drive large scale projects with deep understanding of Agile SDLC, high collaboration and leadership Experience in both Android and iOS applications is a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills, judgment and decision-making skills

Simultaneously develop app and target for both Android and iOS using third party SDKs and APIs

Required – React Native, Firebase Integration, Third Party SDK integrations

Responsibilities and qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience
• Will own several parts of our tech stack, but primarily our Android app
• Build new functionality to the Android app and regularly re-architect it to keep up with latest technologies (e.g., Kotlin)
• Work on new tech that we are already a leading user of (e.g., Google Firebase)
• Work closely with the backend team to construct creative solutions
• Optimize, improve efficiency, scalability, stability of application
• MUST BE reliable, and be able to communicate clearly
• MUST BE able to own and deliver their own work within deadlines, professionally
• Should be passionate about building a strong engineering culture

Bonus Points for experience building high-scale applications, SDKs and other web technologies (like JavaScript).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing app using Flutter for both Android & iOS platforms.
• Writing quality code independently that is simple, reliable, and scalable.
• Evaluating and implementing out-of-the-box ideas for application development.
• Working with the team to manage, optimize, and customize multiple applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have 1+ years of experience in Flutter.Should have worked and successfully deployed apps using Flutter framework.
• Good knowledge of Flutter SDK & Dart programming language.
• Should have worked on mobile platforms like Android or iOS.
• Should have developed & worked with Flutter widgets for iOS & Android with any of the state management solutions like Bloc, Provider, Mobx, etc.
• Mobile app architecture design and optimization. Extreme attention to detail and the ability to match the design as closely as possible.
• Ability to work closely with Product Managers, other development team members.
• Understanding of Functional Reactive Programming is a must.
• Comfortable with Test-Driven Development.

Required Skills: ios + JS + flutter + bluetooth (all 4 are mandatory)

Experience in developing native apps.
