Role & Responsibilities

Take end-to-end ownership of critical backend services — from architecture and development to deployment and scale.

Design systems for performance, reliability, and observability. Identify bottlenecks and eliminate them proactively.

Collaborate with product and design to deeply understand user pain points and build the right solutions.

Work independently and own complex modules with minimal oversight.

Ideal Candidate

2+ years of backend development experience, ideally with Kotlin and Spring Boot (or willingness to ramp up quickly).

You’ve worked in fast-moving teams and thrive when given room to figure things out.

You take initiative and can drive complex modules to completion without needing constant guidance.

Strong with both low-level and high-level design; you know how to build scalable, reliable RESTful APIs.

Proficient with relational databases and aware of common performance pitfalls.

Confident with debugging and optimizing — memory leaks, latency issues, and other hard-to-find problems don’t scare you.

You write clean, testable code and know how to leave systems better than you found them.

You bring a product mindset — caring not just about what’s built, but why and how it delivers value to users.

Responsibilities-

• Writing back-end code & front –end code and building efficient Java modules
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, Write well designed, testable, Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code code
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Align with organizational security protocols and data protection requirements and
• Implement the required feature
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC

Skills and Experience-

• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.)
• excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Experience in the Spring Framework
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using JavaScript, j Query, and AJAX.
• Ensure that the APIs and services are adequate to support the application
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Experience with test-driven development

• excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies.
• Collaborate with other parts of the technology team, including product, QA, etc. to deliver a solid product.

Basic Qualifications

● Experience: 4+ years.

● Hands-on development experience with a broad mix of languages such as JAVA, Python, Javascript etc.

● Server-side development experience mainly in JAVA, (Python and nodeJS can be considerable)

● UI development experience in ReactJS or AngularJS or PolymerJS or EmberJS or Jquery etc. are good to have.

● Passion for software engineering and follow the best coding concepts. ● Good to great problem solving and communication skills.

Requirements:

 Strong development skills in Core / Advanced Java, and J2EE.

 Knowledge of Bamboo, Jira, Spring AOP, Junit, SQL query optimization and fine tuning, is a

plus.

 Strong analytical skills.

 Good in Design Patterns.

 Should have experience on JMS/Messaging and middleware like IBM MQ/Apache Kafka.

 Strong in design and technical documentation.

 Strong in Java SDK 1.8, Java SDK 11, Spring Boot (Embedded Tomcat), REST & SOAP API skills.

 Strong in Spring frameworks (MVC, IOC, Boot, Batch) and ORM framework like Hibernate.

 Hands-on experience in SQL.

 Core Java, J2EE, SOA based Web Services, RESTful Web Services, Hibernate, Spring MVC,

XSD, XML and WSDL, DB, Microservices.

 Understanding of Kafka and Netflix conductor.

 Should have worked with Maven/Gradle, JIRA/Rally, Bamboo/Jenkins/Hudson.

 Extensive development experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST).

1. B.E/ B.Tech / MCA in computer science or a related field
2. 6+ Years of Java/J2EE work experience.
3. Minimum 6 months in Team Lead position.

1. Object-Oriented design, patterns, algorithms, data structures
2. Well knowledge about Spring Hibernate framework.
3. Exposure to React JS / Angular JS.

1. Experience with SQL/No-SQL database technologies – MySQL, Mongo dB, Cassandra, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.

3. Experience in Web services (REST or SOAP)

1. End to end web development experience is highly preferred
