Roles & Responsibilities

Writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.

Ultimately, you'll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs. Write effective, scalable code Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance Integrate user-facing elements into applications.

Test and debug programs

Improve functionality of existing systems Implement security and data protection solutions Assess and prioritize feature requests

Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask, etc)

Requirements

1 to 5 years of experience as a Python Developer

Hands on experience of Flask, Django or Gin or Revel or Sanic

Knowledge of design/architectural patterns will be considered as a plus

Experience working in an agile development environment with a strong focus on rapid software development

Experience in AWS or similar cloud technologies

Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills

Proven ability to complete assigned task according to the outlined scope and timeline

Experience with messaging frameworks such as SQS/Kafka/RabbitMq

Experience with Elastic Search

Willingness to learn new and different technologies

• 3 - 5 years of progressive IT experience with a minimum of 1+ years in building Ruby on Rails Web applications and RESTful API endpoints
• Proficient with scripting languages, specifically Python and Bash
• Experience in Object Oriented Java Script.
• Must have Linux command line experience.
• Good experience in developing and integrating reliable REST web services.
• Possess good communication, organizational and creative thinking skills.
• Multi-tasking individual that likes to work both in a team environment and individually
• Excellent technical abilities, leadership, decision making, and adaptability to new technology

• Be a part of our initial core team to design and develop our platform
• Work on building scalable backend platform for seller apps, dashboards, analytics platform, product information management platform and several cross-platform software components

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has-

• BE/BTech degree in Computer Science from a respected engineering school
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience
• Relevant practical experience in Python Flask development as well as LAMP Stack
• Strong problem-solving skills and strong command on object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and other computer science fundamentals.
• Strong coding skills – professional experience in developing production-quality
• Expertise in Web Services, Service-oriented architecture, Databases, MySQL, Distributed systems, Cloud
• Extreme software engineering skills to design and develop low-latency, high availability, internet-scale web services
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle and software engineering best practices
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Demonstrated ability to own software design and development end to end from requirements to launch.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new
