We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer with a strong proficiency in Go/Golang development to join our team. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our

Applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions that meet our business requirements

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go/Golang.
2. Collaborate with product managers and front-end engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Architect scalable and high-performance systems to handle large volumes of traffic.
4. Implement security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
5. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
6. Optimise database queries and data access patterns for maximum performance.
7. Implement automated tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the backend services
8. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to identify and resolve issues in time.
9. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to peers. 
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development.
3. Proficiency in Go/Golang programming language for at least 2 years.
4. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
5. Experience with building and deploying microservices architectures.
6. Strong knowledge of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
7. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
8. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
9. Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
10. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
11. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
12. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with distributed systems and messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
2. Knowledge of GraphQL and GraphQL query language.

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
