Fullstack Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer with deep experience across frontend, backend, cloud, and database systems. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. This role involves strong technical leadership, mentoring, and driving best practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Technical Ownership: Architect and design complex, scalable full-stack solutions across systems and teams.
• Hands-on Development: Write clean, maintainable React (frontend) and Node.js (backend) code.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver business value.
• Code & Design Reviews: Define and enforce coding standards, guide system design discussions.
• Scalability & Performance: Optimise services and UIs for speed, efficiency, and scalability.
• Mentorship: Coach senior/staff engineers and engineering leads; drive engineering best practices.
• Tech Strategy: Shape long-term technology vision; evaluate tools/frameworks; mitigate architectural risks.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Collaborate on automation, pipelines, and observability practices.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure outputs meet security and compliance standards (GLBA, GDPR, CCPA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years in full-stack development.
• Deep expertise in React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Proven experience architecting complex systems and influencing tech direction at scale.
• Strong understanding of data structures, system design, API design, and microservices.
• Experience with cloud-native systems, containers, and DevOps workflows.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership-by-influence skills.

Founding Engineer:

As a Founding Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and launching our product to customers. Specifically,

• Since our team is lean and we plan to keep it that way - you’ll be one of the first five engineers in leading the zero-to-one journey of a product our customers are hungry for
• Lead technical design and implementation of the frontend and backend of the product with coaching and mentorship from world-class technical architects
• Have knowledge of (or learn) how to work with Shopify’s CLI
• Iterate quickly to create delightful user experiences, working closely with customers/ design partners
• Help us hire a world-class engineering team in the months ahead
• Our team is currently fully remote (with offices to be opened in Bangalore and Mumbai over next few months) and cross-border across San Francisco, Boston, and India - help us cultivate a remote-first, inclusive, diverse, and friendly culture

Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience working with backend tech stacks (e.g. Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, Django, Laravel)
• Experience with service service-oriented architecture, writing REST APIs, unit testing, and architectural design
• Understanding of modern web stacks and architecture (HTTP, REST, GraphQL, WebSockets)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and other technologies (e.g. Mysql, Redis, Kafka)
• Prior experience working with frontend tech stacks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Prior experience working with frontend UI frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS)

1. As a part of ISA ERP development team Develop, test and implement scalable, maintainable, well documented, high-quality MVC / Web Application for Manufacturing or service industry.

2. The individual should have a good understanding of the Microsoft .NET Platform and MS SQL server and Stored procedures

3. Ensure adherence to standards of best engineering practice (code reviews, source code management, unit testing, etc.)

4. Help junior members in the team to get them up to speed and train them in coding practices.

• Have the ability to translate UI/UX design wireframes to scalable code.
• Experience in developing pixel perfect frontend software, with deep experience in React.js
• Design, develop and maintain our user-facing products.
• Creating Restful APIs with Node.js
• Creating Decoupling architecture and microservices.

1. Perform full stack development activities using MERN Stack
2. Ability to translate UX Designs into functional web apps using React JS
3. Technical architecture design along with system architect and product manager
4. Writing effective business logic (using Rest API or GraphQL API)
5. Algorithm design for system modules
6. Database design for scalable and secure system using NoSQL (MongoDB) or RDBMS (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
7. POC development with other engineers
8. Efforts estimations with Product Manager and Engineering Head
9. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
10. Writing Unit testing for robust system
11. Technical documentation

Requirement & Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or equivalent stream. PG is good to have
2. Strong Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
3. Hands on experience in MERN stack (MySQL or PostgreSQL would be plus)
4. Hands on experience to develop Rest/GraphQL API using Node.js with Typescript.
5. Hands on experience on AWS services (EC2, SQS, SES, Lambda).
6. Fundamentals of Docker/Containerized application development would be plus
7. Experience working with US Clients is a Must
8. Experience and Exposure working with different projects and business models will be an advantage
9. 6+ years of experience as Full Stack Development (MERN stack)
10. Experience in SaaS product development would be a plus
11. Experience in other JS frameworks like Next.JS, React Native/Expo would be plus
