Settlin is a PropTech DFY (done-for-you) and ‘The digital broker’ - the first of its kind and the only end-to-end platform (from Property Intent to Registration) - majorly targeted for ‘Resale Home’ Buying. Despite all the digital transformations everywhere, proptech for residential property resale and purchase, has been limited to classifieds (DIYs) so far.

All retail & services industries across India and the globe witnessed the shi from DIY startups to more fundamental DFY unicorns - eg. Justdial to Flipkart, OLX to Spinny. Except Property buying.

With the technology and the capability to execute millions of property inspections across geographies at the same time, by deploying a white-collar gig-workforce, Settlin is the first and only end-to-end platform for resale and purchase of residential Real Estate.

What is your role?

Engineers at Settlin are expected to

- be strong problem solvers with a deep understanding of how to make soware modular. If you’ve ever built a complete application/module all by yourself, that’s a major plus - train and coach other engineers on the team

What should you have mandatorily?

● A good understanding of Javascript concepts

● A hands-on on React, MongoDB

● A Deep Hunger to Learn and Create Technology

● React Material UI Framework: Material UI

● Backend: Node.js, Meteor.js framework

● Implementing automated testing platforms, unit tests, benchmarking and optimization

INR 3 - 8 Lakhs per annum

Lead Full Stack Developer (MEAN Stack) (Product Lead ) - 5+ Exp.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Product development team in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust MEAN stack Application.
• Should be able to plan & execute Development Sprints in Jira based on given Feature Documentation.
• Should be able to allocate resources for Sprints and give time estimates.
• Conduct Daily Standup Meetings for Team and make sure of Sprint Progress.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in best practices for MEAN Stack development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and communicate project progress.
• Stay updated with the latest development trends, tools, and technologies, and advocate for their adoption within the team.
• Making sure that we are creating highly scalable and maintainable API’s that meet performance and security requirements.
• Make sure to have at least 90% Test Coverage for NodeJS Backend.
• Conduct detailed code reviews & refactoring and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project guidelines.
• Optimising frontend components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Develop detailed, annotated wireframes depicting all elements on unique screen types, including content, functional, navigation, and interaction specifications.
• Articulates rationale for approach in the context of both business and user needs.
• Define processes and deliverable that meet project goals and are reasonable within operational, cultural and technology constraints.
• Submit Weekly Sprint & Product Performance Report to Management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Node.js & Angular development.
• Experience with NoSQL database technologies like MongoDB is must.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects properly and meet project deadlines.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is must.

The Expansion Products team is responsible for driving volumetric & usage-based upgrades and upsells within the platform to maximize revenue potential (apart from the subscription revenue). The expansion products team focuses exclusively on products that can demonstrate adoption, drive up engagement in target segments and are easily monetizable. About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior software engineer with strong technical and communication skills who has developed full-stack web apps and created solid APIs and beautiful interfaces for consuming them in user-friendly apps. Focusing on details and well-written, self-documented code is essential for this position. You can expect to collaborate with a solid team of designers, product managers, developers and testers daily.

Type - Full Time (Remote in India)

Your Responsibilities

1. Responsible for developing Backend/Frontend services.
2. Adding payment integration and implementing full payment cycle with audit logs/dashboards 
3. Taking the lead in designing, developing and managing APIs, services that handle
4. Integrating various review aggregators in a single solid system 
5. Creating/customizing various components and web applications in Vue.js
6. Work with a great team of developers, designers and QA testers.
7. Reviewing, writing clean, tested, manageable code for services that scale to affect thousands of users every day.
8. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

Your Core Skills

1. Solid Experience in Full stack engineering with Node.js and modern Javascript frameworks like Vue.js [preferred], React.js, and Angular.
2. Proficient in dashboard development for various applications and should be comfortable understanding the flow of the software.
3. Experience with relational/non-relational databases ex: MySQL / MongoDB / Firestore and have used them to build transactional systems.

1. Should have experience with web services standards and related technologies (XML, JSON, REST).
2. Ability to design and build web services, and integrations with third parties through API
3. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / SVN

Additional Skills

1. Experience with GCP technologies
2. Experience with Stripe integrations.
3. Experience integrating Yext, GMB or similar APIs.

• 5+ years of experience participating in the delivery of technology services.
• A proven ability to learn new applications & innovate in technology
• Strong Experience in technologies like Node, Webservices and Microservices
• Experience with cloud components and services and containerization technologies is desirable
• Exposure to ReactJS mandatory
• Experience working with multiple types of datastores: Mongo DB, SQL
• Experience in integrating, designing and developing solutions is desirable
• Experience with CI/CD and TDD is desirable
• Frameworks - Express , Hapi , feathers
