Full Stack Software Engineer

Project Overview

We’re building Express AI, a SaaS platform that allows small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to easily train and deploy their own dedicated AI agents for customer service, technical support, sales, and more.

Our vision is to give SMBs the power of enterprise-grade AI without complexity. You’ll help build the core platform that powers this – including agent training interfaces, web deployment, dashboards, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable full-stack features using modern JavaScript frameworks

• Build and maintain AI agent training modules (upload docs, FAQs, tone settings)

• Integrate OpenAI, Whisper, LangChain, and other LLM APIs

• Implement user-facing dashboards for chat/voices/social/email agent monitoring

• Design multi-tenant systems with admin-level controls

• Ensure reliability and scalability of the platform as we grow

Tech Stack

• Frontend: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript

• Backend: Node.js, Express, MongoDB (or Postgres), Redis

• AI & NLP: OpenAI API (ChatGPT, Whisper), LangChain, Python (optional)

• DevOps: Docker, AWS or GCP (basic familiarity okay)

• Other: WebSockets for real-time chat, REST APIs, Git

Role Type

• Full Stack Developer (preferred)

• Frontend or Backend specialists also considered, but must be willing to collaborate on both sides

Experience Level

• 3 to 6 years of professional experience

• Previous work with SaaS platforms, AI tools, or multi-tenant architecture is a big plus

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript

• Strong experience with React.js and Node.js

• Experience working with REST APIs and building secure web apps

• Solid understanding of cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Firebase)

• Ability to work independently, self-manage, and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with LangChain, OpenAI, AI agent frameworks

• Experience with voice/chat integration

• Prior experience building tools for SMBs or customer support systems

Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Full Stack Intern to join our development team. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates who have a passion for coding and want to gain hands-on experience in developing web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and test new features.
• Work with Python for backend integrations and scripting.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in React and Express.js.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Completed 1-2 small to mid-level MERN stack projects.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on development experience in one or more of the following languages/frameworks: React/Angular, Node/Next.js,python/Django

● Hands-on development and deployment experience in AWS or Azure using serverless functions or EC2

● Experience with RESTful & GraphQL APIs

● Familiarity with microservices architectures

● Familiarity with dev tools such as Github, Jira, CFT, Terraform

● DB experience with relational or noSQL such as PostgreSQL, , MySQL, Redshift, MongoDB, Redis

● Familiarity with cloud-based logging, monitoring, and security tools

· Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in MEAN Stack development i.e MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js

· Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

· Experience with version control systems and repository management.

· Passionate about writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

· Strong analytical and debugging skills and experience building consumer systems at scale.

Required skillset

Applicants must have knowledge and experience in the following:

· Backend frameworks like Nodejs, expressjs

· Working with RDBMS

· Familiarity with MongoDB would be beneficial

· HTML, CSS & JavaScript

· Frontend frameworks like Angular, React / Svelte

· Web server like Nginx

• 3+ years of extensive experience in developing the Single Page Application with Web responsive design for mobile and web using Angularjs or Nodejs / React JS, HTML 5, CSS 3 and Bootstrap.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc.
• Node JS & software engineering experience
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript (ES6)
• Knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, RDS and Dynamo
• Understanding of non-relational databases such as CouchDB and MongoDB
• Working experience with MySQL
