Full Stack Java Developer

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable backend applications. 
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) 
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices. 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects. 
• Debug and troubleshoot complex technical problems. 
• Identify and implement performance optimizations. 
• Participate in code reviews 
• Hands-on experience with Springboot, Java 8 and above. 
• 5-8 years of experience developing Java applications. 
• Knowledge about at least one messaging system like Kafka, RabbitMQ etc. 
• Required React developer requirements, qualifications & skills: 
• Proficiency in React.js and its core principles 
• Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills 
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux) 
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. 
• Experience with design patterns and best practices for Java development. 
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit). 
• Experience with build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle). 
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). 
• Experience with one of these databases – Postgres, MongoDb, Cassandra 
• Knowledge on Retail or OMS is a plus. 
• Experienced in containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps mindset 
• Ability to reverse engineer existing/legacy and document findings on confluence. 
• Create automated tests for unit, integration, regression, performance, and functional testing, to meet established expectations and acceptance criteria. 
• Document APIs using Lowe’s established tooling.

Requirements

What We're Looking For 

• Basic proficiency in Java, RESTful APIs, React, Ruby on Rails (ROR), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• A keen interest in learning technologies like Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Python, and Angular.
• Foundational knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering methodologies.
• Familiarity or willingness to learn Agile and Extreme Programming methodologies in a continuous deployment environment.
• Curiosity to explore tools and technologies like web server ecosystems, relational DBMS, CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo), web frameworks, front-end technologies, complexity analysis, and performance optimization.

Job Description:

Strong organizational and coding skills. Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Hands-on experience and strong knowledge in
JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS/React JS/Node JS and good coding skills in server-side development – Spring Framework, Spring Boot (latest 2.3.1), Core Java (Java 8 & above). Preferable skills in Microservices, Web services, Rest API and design patterns. Hands-on experience in Unix shell script. DevOps – Docker, Any Cloud Platform (AWS/GCP). Strong Integration knowledge in Java preferably in SAP interfacing - Good to have (for eg https://github.com/SAP/cloud-rest-api-client). Familiarity with database technology such as Hibernate/JPA (ORM), PostgreSQL. Good knowledge of designing and developing APIs. Good problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal communication skills.
