About the Role

MARS Telecom is looking for a strong Full Stack Developer who can take ownership of backend-heavy development while contributing to front-end needs when required. The role involves building scalable APIs, maintaining cloud-hosted services, and ensuring smooth integration across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services primarily using C# / .NET Core.
• Build and maintain REST APIs with strong attention to performance and reliability.
• Work with AngularJS for UI-related tasks when needed (light front-end contribution).
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot services on AWS.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data modeling, queries, and optimization.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

Must-Have Skills

• 4–8 years of hands-on development experience.
• Strong expertise in C# or .NET Core.
• Practical experience with AngularJS.
• Solid understanding of REST API development.
• AWS exposure (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, or similar).
• Experience with any database (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Ability to work independently in a pure IC (Individual Contributor) capacity.

Good-to-Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Basic CI/CD understanding.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Build/customize Odoo modules (Sales/Inventory/Website/eCommerce).

● Hands-on experience with Queuing Mechanisms such as RabbitMQ, Redis, and Kafka. 

● Experience with designing and building user-friendly interfaces using Tailwind CSS and Radix UI. 

● Excellent understanding of distributed systems, databases, and APIs. ● A passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. ● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. 

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Bonus points if you have: 

● Experience with building self-serve platforms or user onboarding experiences.

● Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

● A strong understanding of security best practices for Kubernetes deployments.

● Grasp on setting up Network Architecture for distributed systems.

Requisites 

• Experience with software development in one or more programming languages with data structures/algorithms. 
• 1-year experience in software architecture/design. 

• 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems and/or data management/storage technologies.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Write and test production systems, with a broader understanding of the product. 
• Review code and provide feedback. Mentor engineers to take on bigger responsibilities. 
• Review and lead design discussions/reviews, with a long-term vision. 

• Set high-level engineering direction, and best practices and document educational content to save engineering hours. 
• Triage product or system issues. Mitigate and resolve production inefficiencies.
