Frontend/React.js Developer - Javascript/AngularJS

Job Description: We are looking for a UI Developer HTML & CSS Developer responsible for the client side of our service. Your primary focus will be to implement a complete user interface in the form of a desktop and mobile web app, with a focus on performance.

Key Skills: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Jquery and JavaScript.

TechUnity is looking for a highly motivated and skilled React JS / React Native software developer who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming. Developer will be designing and implementing attractive and intuitive Web-based user interface and developing backend services to support front-end requests. Developer will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications for the company. Using JavaScript (React), HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design. Someone with prior experience with Gatsby, Hasura, Redux, etc and live projects to showcase will get prioritised.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 2+ years' experience in frontend development
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Experience building object oriented web applications in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Develop Proof-of-Concept and prototype applications using new technologies and frameworks. In addition to collaborating with internal teams and clients to create innovative solutions.
• Help establish GUI best practices and JavaScript frameworks for web development.
• Provide context and guidance for integration and implementation of Front-End Interfaces
• Translate wireframes, comps, and functional requirements into functional HTML/ CSS / Javascript.
• Develop standards-compliant mark-up and code for web sites and applications
• Develop JavaScript using standard Frameworks (jQuery, etc.)
• Develop small to medium size custom JavaScript libraries for reuse across the application
• Provide technology and implementation expertise to the domain, projects, or client
• Maintain leading-edge knowledge in emerging technologies and frameworks
• Participate in knowledge sharing and lessons learned sessions from project experiences

• Technical expertise in leading a team with hands on experience with Core PHP and JavaScript
• Highly proficient with HTML, CSS, RESTful API
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Experience in working with CI/CD tools and automation
• Experience in working on Kubernetes
• Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
• Ability to communicate with team members and stakeholders
• The candidate must work in a Collaborative style, should be results-driven and a problem solver
• Must be self-driven, detail-oriented with ability to produce high quality and timely results

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Lead a technical team on building custom modules in a tool that creates static html pages
• Develop these new functionalities with the team's other frontend & backend developers while ensuring compliance with technical requirements (quality, performance, and security)
