We're looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to work on our cutting edge online investment platform which has recently gone live. What will you be doing? Although it is a frontend position there is still some variation to the position. As well as developing frontend functionality you'll be contributing to the scoping and design of new software and supporting planning and estimating. You’ll also be identifying and investigating defects in the systems and developing bug fixes, plus corresponding enhancements to the product. It will be down to you to improve code maintainability and supportability through code refactoring, peer review and other means. What do you need? Ideally, you’ll have previous experience working in Vue.js. However, this isn’t a prerequisite. The most important thing is a real burning desire to learn and pick up new skills so if you want to learn Vue.js this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll have strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS and have had prior experience in some JS frameworks. (e.g. ReactJS, ExtJS, AngularJS). We work with PHP, Laravel 5 on the backend so any experience with that would be great, though not essential. You’ll have experience in working with responsive design. You’ll have worked in an agile environment or willing to work in a team that follows Kanban/Scrum.
