Role Description

This is a full-time role for a React.js Developer who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing responsive and scalable web applications. The successful candidate will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to convert designs and requirements into high-quality, production-ready applications. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of features from development through deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and scalable web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable and maintainable frontend components.
• Convert UI/UX designs and Figma prototypes into functional web interfaces.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Manage application state using Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar technologies.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Debug and resolve frontend issues across development and production environments.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow clean coding and development practices.
• Write and maintain appropriate tests for frontend applications.
• Stay updated with modern frontend technologies and best practices.
• Take ownership of features from development and testing through deployment and maintenance.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js.
• Good understanding of React Hooks, component architecture, props, state, and Context API.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 and responsive web development.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or similar.
• Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization and browser debugging.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with React.js.
• Experience with TypeScript and Next.js is preferred.
• Familiarity with UI libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or similar is a plus.
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library is a plus.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Candidates with strong practical experience, personal projects, GitHub contributions, or demonstrable frontend work may also be considered in place of extensive professional experience.

·      7+ years of professional experience in front-end development.

·      5+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Context API, Hooks, etc.)

·      Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

·      Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket integration.

·      Proficiency in modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel, etc.).

·      Expertise in state management libraries (Redux, MobX) and React Query.

·      Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.

·      Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.).

·      Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git).

Responsibilities

• Ability to translate Wireframes and PSD Designs into functional web apps using HTML5, AngularJS, React , Node.js, and Mongo

Software Engineering

• 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining React-based applications
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing medium to large-scale applications using Javascript frameworks
• Experience with projects that involve, improving the reliability and performance of your web-apps, by leveraging different observability tools like Lighthouse, Sentry, and Datadog.
• Good understanding of functional programming paradigms and UI architecture patterns
• A decent understanding of cloud infrastructure like AWS to orchestrate and manage our applications.
• Experience with testing frameworks like JEST, modern auth mechanisms, and server-side rendering through frameworks like NextJS
• Experience with backend technologies like JAVA, and Kotlin would be good to have.

Product Development

• Ability to scope, review and refine user stories for technical completeness and to resolve dependency risks.
• Well-versed in working in an agile environment and being involved in different stages of SDLC - Design, Development, Code Review, Testing, and Release Management
• Ability to work with different CI/CD frameworks, with hands-on experience with Git or any similar source code management tools
• Continuously refactor applications so that they are easy to maintain, easy to extend, and contribute to

5. Solving problems related to optimal pricepoint for partners and customers, matchmaking with supply and demand, and building confidence around payment experience and location tracking.

We are looking for a senior React.js developer who can guide the current team and also work on our project. The requirement could be for 3-4 months or at max 6 months. Hence a full-time remote consultant is preferred with about 4-5 years of experience in React.

This position is for a ReactJS developer. Since we are a start-up this position will have a lot of exposure to other verticals such as product management as well. There is no limit to learning for a person who is willing to take responsibility.

- Should be able to build and deploy multi-tenant SAAS applications end to end
- Need to have a technology-agnostic mindset. Should be able to easily pick up any new technology based on the use case
- Should be an expert software craftsman/craftswoman. Must own the code and be proud of what you build
- Write well thought out, well-tested code with extensive unit tests and integration tests so that the addition of future features is easy.
- Must know cloud deployment concepts and be comfortable working on CI/CD pipelines, cost-effective cloud deployment strategies. AWS experience highly preferred
- Must be able to design and architect simple, market-tested yet highly scalable solutions
- Must be able to quickly iterate and produce working software at a high speed. Must not be shy to scrap and rebuild when there is a need
- Must be appreciative of documentation and write well-documented code and technical documentation alongside

Technical Skills Needed -
