Position: Senior Software Engineer

Location : Gurgaon ( WFH untill Pandamic ) 

You'll be responsible for developing web applications for managing various working aspects of e-commerce, warehousing & supply chain systems. Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic and client-side interfaces, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable user-facing software applications.

● Participate in business discussions and present software solutions to their various problems.

● Coordinate full cycle product development activities with executive management, product management, quality assurance, support, and operations teams.

● Build software modules, libraries, and frameworks that support complex back-end applications as per the specifications and on time.

● Design schema for SQL and NoSQL database.

● Setup metrics tracking and inspect server code for speed optimization.

● Assign tasks to team members and gauge progress of various projects.

● Should open to work on PHP/Laravel.

Requirements:

● 4+ years hands-on experience on writing and deploying production quality code.

● Solid foundation in computer science with strong competency in data structures, algorithms and software design.

● Have created enterprise level applications in any programming language.

● Professional experience using PHP, Python and Golang among others.

● Development experience with Unix/Linux.

● Strong Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.

● Hands on experience in using AWS technologies like EC2, lambda functions, SNS, SQS and worked on serverless architecture.

● Follow right back-end engineering practices and desire to continually keep up with its advancements.

● Constantly improve product quality, security, and performance.

● Experience in leading the team and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment is a plus.

● Domain knowledge of warehousing operation related processes and ecommerce workflows is preferred.

● Should open to work on PHP/Laravel.

• The successful applicant will be responsible for the technical delivery of all development assignments allocated to him in a timely fashion, while meeting rigorous quality targets.
• Unit testing of code - Working with very large and complex SQL databases
• Troubleshooting through resolution of technical issues and system errors
• Performing testing, documentation, and mentoring/grooming/coaching less technical staff where applicable
• Work with Architects, Project Managers, and other Developers to estimate the level of effort necessary to implement assigned work packages.
• Write efficient, clean, tested code that follows high standards and quality requirements

Specific Skillset Required

Minimum 2-3 Years of strong hands-on experience on:

• PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML 5, Ajax, JSON
• PHP framework preferably Laravel

Strong Fundamental knowledge required

• Web development experience in Core PHP, Mysql, MVC architecture.
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures
• Implementation of Service Integration of an on Demand Web Application
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as (Git / SVN / Bitbucket)
• Experience in developing cross-browser-compatible web applications in HTML, CSS
• Experience developing and deploying solutions/applications across various environments (on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure, Alibaba, GCP etc.)

We’re seeking an expert Full-Stack developer ( Expert in  HTML 5, PHP, Canvas & JQuery) to help us update our back-end admin. You will work from layouts in Adobe XD and Anima and work side by side with our development team in Manila and coordinate tasks and timelines to complete our  project.  Estimate full-time 3 month timeline- possibility may need you for ongoing freelance work after project completion.

We are looking to hire a temporary, freelance position for now. 


REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in eCommerce web development  is  required for this position

• Strong knowledge of current architectural approaches to web-based applications development

• Experience with Agile development projects

• Ability to effectively manage changing and multiple priorities

• Experience with PHP, CSS, HTML / HTML 5, Javascript coding

• MVC based PHP framework (Laravel)

• jQuery/AJAX/JSON or other Javascript frameworks (AngularJS, React Backbone, etc)

• HTML5 Responsive framework (Bootstrap, foundation, skeleton, etc)

Knowledge of Linux command-line

• Experience of using version control (Github, Subversion, BitBucket, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Anima)

• Knowledge and understanding of how to update modules using Angular or React 

• Knowledge and understanding of Databases (MySql/MSSQL)

• Knowledge and understanding of SEO tools application

• Experience with open-source software

• Enjoy mentoring team members; helping them to advance their technical skills

• Must be able to stay on top of advancing internet and computer technology and its effects to the business environment

• Be willing to work in a research capacity ñto find, test, and critically review open-source frameworks and technologies.
