Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Java Software Engineer. As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions, building and maintaining Microservices architectures, and programming using Spring Boot. This role is based in Bengaluru and is an on-site position.

Roles & Responsibilities : 

Familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from analysis to deployment & coding standards. 

Believes in systematic approach to developing the system through clear documentation (flowcharts, layouts, & etc) of functionality, address every use case through creative solutions. 

Ability to integrate the developed functionality and/or component into a fully functional system. 

Ensure unit and integration level verification plan are in place 

Actively participate in troubleshooting, debugging and updating current live system. 

Work closely with analysts, designers and other peer developers. 

Preparing technical training documents for onboarding new engineers. 

Requirements : 

Must have good understanding of Object Oriented Programming 

5 years or more of professional software development experience with 3 or more years of experience developing .NET/C# web applications using Microsoft Development Products 

Define, design and build varied components of web-based and/or mobile applications 

Experience using WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) to build Windows desktop applications is a plus 

Experience using JavaScript frameworks/libraries (Angular, React, JQuery, D3) is a plus 

Experience with SQL Server (relational databases) and no-SQL Databases (Apache Cassandra or similar) 

Strong analytical skills – be a problem solver and be able to develop complex algorithms 

Strong familiarity of software architecture, databases and design patterns 

Exposure or understanding of deploying applications on cloud platforms like Azure/AWS

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To develop, design, test, maintain and support custom mobile and web applications
• To collect the software requirement by the customer and develop the application as per their requirement
• Evaluate and research the products and technologies related to software
• To design and develop the activities and procedures related to activities and maintenance
• To write the high-quality code to meet customer requirement
• To design, develop and implement the critical application for .Net environment

• 8+ years of relevant work experience
• Well-versed in data structures, algorithms, and software design. Programming experience with at least one of
• Java or Python and object-oriented design
• Knowledge on SQL, NoSQL databases, Messaging/Caching technologies and AW deployments is a plus
• Exposure to the architecture and design (design patterns, security, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. Experience in building highly scalable business applications, which involve implementing large complex business flows involving multiple third-party integrations
• Prior startup experience is a plus

• Conduct UI tests and optimize performance.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or relevant field. Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred. 
• 5-7 years of relevant experience 
• Must be an expert programmer, skilled at computer languages such as HTML, C+++, C#, PHP, Python and Java. 
• Must understand Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, JMS, Mysql, Redis, CouchDb, Micro Services, Docker, Kubernetes 
• Must be able to interpret and follow instructions related to the ultimate functionality of our IT-based product 

• Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS 
• Must be comfortable with technology architecture and how a computer and its software functions. 
• Deadline driven, organized and understand how people view and understand content on the front-end
