About the role:
As a Competitive Programming Engineer at HeyCoach, you will play a pivotal role in building the backbone of essential tools that our learners will utilize to excel in interview preparation and competitive programming. This is a full-time position, ideal for individuals who have recently graduated and possess a strong background in Competitive Programming.
Responsibilities:
● Algorithmic Problem Solving: Demonstrate proficiency in solving complex algorithmic problems and challenges.
● Tool Development: Contribute to the design and development of tools that will aid learners in their competitive programming and interview preparation journey.
● Educational Content Support: Collaborate with the content development team to provide technical insights and support in creating educational content related to competitive
programming.
● Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and efficiency of tools and resources developed, with a keen eye for detail and functionality.
● Research and Development: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in competitive programming and problem-solving domains. Contribute to ongoing research initiatives.
● Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, educators, and content creators, to align tool development with educational objectives.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant field.
● Strong experience or knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and competitive programming principles.
● Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate concepts into practical solutions.
● Recent graduates or candidates with relevant competitive programming internships are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills:
● Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms.
● Passion for enhancing the learning experience for individuals aspiring to crack interviews.
● Effective communication and teamwork skills.
● Mandatory practices on either of the platforms, Leetcode, Codeforces, CodeChef or GeeksforGeeks, Topcode.
