About the Role: Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will:

• Design & Develop scalable backend solutions using Kotlin, Java, DynamoDB, GraphQL, Pulsar, and Big Data technologies.
• Lead Architectural Decisions to ensure high availability, resilience, and performance across Toast’s platform.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Product, UX, and Business teams to drive business impact through engineering solutions.
• Optimize System Performance & Cost Efficiency, ensuring scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Mentor & Guide Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices in software development.
• Drive Business-Centric Decision-Making, ensuring engineering solutions align with revenue growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Improve Engineering Processes through automation, standardization, and technical excellence.

Do You Have the Right Ingredients? (Requirements)

• 14+ years of software development experience in designing and scaling high-performance backend systems.
• Proven track record of driving business impact—understanding how technical solutions align with revenue, cost savings, and scalability.
• Strong executive communication skills—able to articulate technical concepts clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset—can identify gaps, propose solutions, and execute with a long-term vision.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and database technologies (SQL, Postgres, DynamoDB).
• Hands-on experience with Java, Kotlin, C#, or similar backend languages.
• Agile mindset with a focus on continuous delivery, DevOps practices, and process improvements.
• Mentorship & leadership experience—can influence teams, drive technical excellence, and promote best practices.

Native Health is looking for results-oriented Engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for building world-class technology products and platforms that are at the forefront of the technology revolution in the Indian healthcare ecosystem. Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end development and launch of features on our App.
• Participate in scoping, and planning discussions with the designers, PMs, and Leads.
• Conceptualize and develop prototypes quickly.
• Develop and own launch plans to completion Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve the performance and the architecture.
• App We will depend on this person to set up/improve the code quality, and tracking.
• App architecture and this person needs to have extensively worked on React + Android/iOS.

Requirements:

• Min. 3 years of full-time work experience (College projects, Internships are not a part of this).
• Hands-on experience with React Native.
• Deep expertise in either iOS or Android platforms and ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of your tools: Languages, frameworks, systems.
• Experience with abstracting requirements into frameworks.
• Has worked with the react ecosystem for eg, redux, react-query, react-router, etc.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a consumer tech set-up (ecommerce, D2C).
• Work with Rest APIs.
• Experience with video streaming and Real-Time Communication technologies.

Responsible for maintaining all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks, manage and supervise all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI.

Developing creative digital marketing strategies to meet the decided target.

Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects.

Experience with SEO marketing and related tools.

Strong SEO/SEM capabilities (imperative).

Established capabilities in Google Analytics.

Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.

Create a report of competitor advertising links.

Sound knowledge of Wordpress, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, Jquery and JavaScript.

Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website.

Review and suggest new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

Good experience in creating content and copy for the online mediums including blogs, websites, infographics, online videos, competitions, and social media campaigns. Impeccable spelling and grammar.

Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments.

Experience in managing and guiding a team and bringing out the best results.

Role

The role is a unique opportunity to be a part of the founding team of KAFQA. The responsibilities of the role are per the below:

• Product Development: Partner with the founder & product team to create a product roadmap. Play a key role in influencing customer journey, experience & specs (requirements) with UX designer. Develop front end & back end systems and product. 
• Project Management: Ensure product development roadmap timelines are achieved in a timely way with the right quality with progress being reported daily. 
• Technology Excellence: Ensure that products have best in class performance on technology driven aspects (load times, latencies, uptimes, etc.). 
• Hiring & Developing: Hire junior engineers, divide project workloads & mentor them to continuously improve.
• Continuous Improvement: Establish intake mechanism to convert user feedback into actionable upgrades in product design, track feature improvements & their progress and create rapid improvement cycles. 

The role is based in Bangalore, India and reports directly to the Founder, CEO of KAFQA.

Experience, Qualifications & Person Type

The ideal candidate is someone who – 

• Has 4+ years of experience in a digital product company
• Should have managed teams before & can attract talent
• Has experience in front end & back end technologies across web & app development
• Has studied computer science or engineering with at least a B.Tech or B.E degree
• Preferably is skilled in at least one performing art or is a hobbyist
• Is willing to fulfil all responsibilities above & go beyond as needed
• Moves fast to launch & fix issues 
• Is a self-starter, operates with autonomy & can deal with ambiguity while being innovative & frugal

• The Architect/ Lead Backend Engineer will handle the digital experience from inception to go-live model.
• The role holder is expected to create a vision and roadmap for the digital experience to provide best in class customer experience for each of the product solutions handled.  The role holder will play a critical role in leading the innovation and growth of our front end web and mobile platforms.
• Must be from Good Companies and have been working on high Scale of Traffic
• Proficiency in engineering practices and writing high quality code, with expertise in either one of Java or Groovy or Go.
• 3+ years of experience building microservices.
• Strong experience in architecting and building distributed systems, scalability, and availability
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS/Google Cloud/Azure
• Good understanding of RxJava or Actors framework
• Proficient with RDBMS
• Strong knowledge on data stores, database design, data modelling and SQL queries
• Extensive experience building and owning large- scale distributed backend systems
• Experience working with three or more of : Unix/Linux environments, Distributed and parallel systems, Workflow automation, CI/CD Platform development, Cloud platforms development e.g. AWS/GCP, Kubernetes/Container platforms based development

Mandatory Requirement/ Preference:

1.PowerBuild technology experience with minimum 8+ years

1. Excellent command on ASP.NET, Angular5/6/7/any version, MVC, Sql Server.
2. Should have strong debugging skills on Developer Tools of the browser and Working with Cross Browser UI

4.Working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Platform and Microsoft Office applications.

1. Detailed technical knowledge of Angular any version, C#.Net (Visual Studio) development tools.
2. Experience with DevExpress components desirable.
3. Experience with DATA along with DevOps and GitHub.
