C/C++ Developer

JD:

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of software modules owned by a team. You will guide and mentor junior team members by reviewing their code and designs to ensure that they are writing well designed and high quality code. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will need to collaborate across teams. 

Key Skills:

• 3 to 6 years of experience
• Extensive experience on C/C++/Python
• Experience on OS - Unix/Linux and Windows
• Hands on experience in Networking and Multi-threading

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in Cloud Technologies, system programming is a plus

Qualification:

• B.Tech / B.E / M.E./ M.Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent.

Solid knowledge and experience of working in C/C++ programming language

Solid knowledge and experience of working with PCL (Printer Command Language) or IPDS (Intelligent Printer Data Stream)

Solid working knowledge of object oriented principles: Encapsulation, Classes, Inheritance, Code Reuse, Polymorphism, Decoupling

Responsible for technical design of a subsystem

Knows how to apply architecture and design patterns

·      Proficient in C, C++ development, OS concepts, Data Structures, Distributed computing, and Algorithms.

·      Actively engaged in projects related to architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling).

·      Excellent problem-solving capability with strong fundamentals in Computer Science.

·      Highly proficient in data structures and algorithms.

·      Ability to pick up new technologies rapidly to convert specifications to low level design.

·      Ability to clearly communicate the intent and approach when producing a code design document.

·      Develop frontend as well as backend components for delivering product on cloud platforms.

·      Participate in activities that lead up to the code design. This may include activities such as developing prototypes, proof of concept, compare pros and cons of various implementation choices being considered and recommending the most appropriate one.

·      Mentor and influence junior developers to adhere to good coding standards and become quality conscious.

·      Review critical pieces of code that are developed as per this code design.

·      Ensure that the code being delivered is of the highest quality.

·      Ensure appropriate unit tests and functional as well as non-functional tests are considered.

·      Conceptualize and work towards building processes, methodology, and tools to improve team’s ability to deliver high quality software. 

• Hands-on development and optimization of image enhancing algorithms for image processing using computational imaging
• Working with peer teams on researching and resolving complex software and system problems
• Analvze and optimize different methodologies to improve output of image processing
• Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to refine algorithms for optimal system performance
• Support products from the early development and prototyping phases through to production
• Developing functional specifications per customer requirements
• Good understanding of image processing techniques such as edge detection skills, image alignment, removing noise, image segmentation, correction/modification, compression, and image reconstruction
