Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer (Python) at Hubler. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications while working within a team of developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and develop software solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Python
• Must enjoy Coding with Passion
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures and design patterns
• Experience working with Django, Flask, Python-based web frameworks and Restful APIs
• Experience in database design and management with MongoDB
• Experience in distributed source control, such as Git
• Experience with scrum development methodology
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear communication with team members and stakeholders
• The ability to work in a collaborative team environment with willingness to share skills and knowledge

AutoScheduler is looking for a remote senior software developer to join our talented team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is interested in constant learning. We want this person to join our dynamic team as we take an established software and re-develop it from scratch as a part of a new start up.

We are looking for a Backend C++ developer responsible for maintaining and developing algorithmic C++ for new and existing customers. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop applications and services, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, robust design, and quality product is essential.

• Work with non-technical personnel to translate business requirements into stories and epics
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications / features
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

Responsibilities & ownership

• Lead, build, deliver and ensure customer success of next-generation features related to scalability, reliability, robustness, usability, security, and performance of the product.
• Work on distributed systems for data processing with efficient protocols and communication, locking and consensus, schedulers, resource management, low latency access to distributed storage, auto scaling, and self healing.
• Understand and reason about concurrency and parallelization to deliver scalability and performance in a multithreaded and distributed environment.
• Lead the team to solve complex and unknown problems 
• Solve technical problems and customer issues with technical expertise
• Design and deliver architectures that run optimally on public clouds like  GCP, AWS, and Azure

Requirements

• B.S./M.S/Equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience
• Fluency in Java/C++ with 8+ years of experience developing production-level software
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded and asynchronous programming models, and their use in developing distributed and scalable systems
• 5+ years experience in developing complex and scalable distributed systems and delivering, deploying, and managing microservices successfully
• Hands-on experience  in query processing or optimization, distributed systems, concurrency control, data replication, code generation, networking, and storage systems
• Passion for quality, zero downtime upgrades, availability, resiliency, and uptime of the platform
• Passion for learning and delivering using latest technologies
• Ability to solve ambiguous, unexplored, and cross-team problems effectively
• Hands on experience of working projects on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform 
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes for orchestration and container management in private and public clouds (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud) 
• Understanding of distributed file systems such as  S3, ADLS, or HDFS
• Excellent communication skills and affinity for collaboration and teamwork
• Ability to work individually and collaboratively with other team members
