Job Summary :

We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services.

Responsibilities :

• Conceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on all types of Android devices.
• Implementing measures to safeguard users' data.
• Ensuring that the construction and presentation of your apps are congruent with the company's standards.
• Proofreading your code and correcting mistakes before each app is released.
• Collaborating with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order.
• Liaising with the marketing department to ensure consistency in our company's 'voice' across the board.
• Monitoring app reviews to detect areas for improvement.
• Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release.

Requirements

• 2+ yearsof experience as an android developer
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or C++.
• Ability to use the Android Studio, including the Android SDK, with ease.
• Prior experience as an android developer will be advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES
❖ Responsible for requirements gathering, solution definition,
development and deployment of mobile applications for the Vahak
mobile platform.
❖ Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the mobile
application.
❖ Design interfaces to improve user experience.
❖ Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions. Troubleshoot and
debug to optimize performance
❖ Research current technology trends to provide input on how they may
influence overall enterprise architecture.
❖ Stay abreast with new innovations and the latest technology trends and
explore ways of leveraging these for improving the product in
alignment with the business.


SKILLS LOOKING FOR

❖ Between 5-10 years proven work experience as a developer for Android in the mobile
development industry with a track record of developing apps released to the public.
❖ Algorithms and data structure.
❖ Solid understanding of the full mobile app development life cycle.
❖ Experience and understanding of government services, security & mobility domains.
❖ Excellent Experience with Java/J2EE, Eclipse, XML, Android APIs, Android SDK and
Android Studio.
❖ Experience in working with SQLite Database.
❖ Experience in developing back-end services preferably with Golang/Python.
❖ Solid understanding and experience with object-oriented programming and associated
design patterns.
❖ Proficiency working with object-oriented design, data structures, and complexity

• Building a payment suite for Public transportation like no one else - powering Tap to pay cards, Tap to pay using Android phones, Offline Dynamic QR codes, other digital payment options such as UPI, Wallets, Common Mobility cards.
• Working with web sockets, advanced caching techniques to power an ultra fast and slick UX.
• Multilingual and Multi modal app integrating buses, metro, cabs, cycles, bikes.

6-8 years of experience

Qualifications :
- Motivation to design and build reliable, elegant apps

Job Description:
Experience designing and developing Android applications, proficiency with Java, familiarity with Android image processing development, familiarity with application development using MVC, MVP and MVVP approach. Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, Agile team development environment
