Angular Developer

Looking for candidates only with tier 1 colleges OR have a minimum 1yr of experience in a product-based company.

The primary role is a Frontend software engineer, designing and building user-friendly and intuitive applications
You will be involved and drive product & design discussions.

Desired Skills
● Minimum 1+ years of coding experience.
● Proficiency using modern web development technologies and techniques, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
● Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
● Programming experience with at least one modern framework such as ReactJS or VueJs.
● A strong product design sense.
● Understand end user requirements, formulate use cases and come up with effective solutions.
● Good understanding of REST APIs and the web in general.
● Ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion.
● Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts.
● Ability to learn and work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision

• Drive UI/UX & design aspects of the platform Innovate on UX to provide the best possible experience to the customer
• Convert UI design wireframes to functional UI (HTML/CSS/JS)
• Build high performant UI features
• Optimise existing features for better performance
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Complete the assigned features with validations
• Should take end-to-end ownership and pride in building assigned features
• Collaborate across the teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Requirements
  
  • 3+ years of experience as a front-end developer
  • At least one product built and published
  • Proven experience in building/or been a lead contributor in a tech set-up
  • Strong analytical and structural thinking skills
  • Passion to build beautiful, responsive and performant user experiences
  • Strong understanding and fundamentals in Javascript & JQuery
  • Proficient in React.js, material design concepts, UI/UX best practices and design standards
  • Willing to work on pure Javascript based projects as well as React.js based projects
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and their solutions.
  • Proficient in HTML5 CSS3
  • Proficient with CSS preprocessors LESS and SASS

Your primary focus will be developing web applications and components. You'll implement them with the React.js framework, following generally accepted practices and workflows. You will ensure that you produce robust, secure, modular, and maintainable code. You will coordinate with other team members, including backend developers and UX/UI designers. Your commitment to team collaboration, good communication, and a quality product is crucial.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Developing new user-facing features using React.js and workflows like Redux.
2. Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
3. Translating designs and wireframes in high-quality code.
4. Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
5. Integrating APIs for complete functionality.
6. Write technical documentation.

Responsibilities include:

1. Experience developing desktop and mobile applications for a minimum of 2 years.

2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

3. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

4. Should have experience with Redux and respective middlewares (eg. redux-thunk or redux-saga)

5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs

6. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

7. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

8. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

9. Knowledge of D3.js would be plus

Skills Required: HTML/CSS, Javascript, React.js, Redux.

Required Experience: 2 - 4 year of experience
