Android Developer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Participating in the entire product lifecycle (analyze, develop, test, release, and support.
• Contributing to research for new web and mobile technologies and recommend solutions to improve interface designs and interactions
• Testing, debugging, and fine-tuning to optimize the application’s performance.
• Designing intuitive applications to enhance users’ experiences.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• 2+ year experiences of mobile/web application development and system integration.
• Must be a skilled programmer with knowledge of coding best practices and ability to produce highly readable and maintainable code.
• Management and support of Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Experience in API development and integration with third-party APIs
• English communication is required. Great communication skills to coordinate across technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and with good problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with and lead other development team members.
• Ability to work in multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Specialization in IONIC must.

KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERTISE IN THE FOLLOWING ARE AN ADVANTAGE:

• Specialization in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Experience with web service integration (REST, JSON, XML).
• Experience or knowledge with Git, Gitlab, GitHub is a plus.

Job Requirements:

- The candidate should be capable of completing app projects from start to finish independently.

- 0- 2 Years of overall industry experience and rich experience inPodium Introduction:

 React-native.

- Ability to think from the end user's perspective and focus on improving the overall product experience.

- Developer at heart with strong focus to learn and implement the latest enhancements in React Native.

- Hands-on experience on Web development technology stack, HTML/JS/CSS and other web development libraries and frameworks is an added advantage.

- Thorough understanding of React Native development tools like IDEs (Nuclide, Atom, Sublime Text, or Visual Studio Code), Chrome debugging tools, ESLint, React Native CLI, Watchman, package manager, etc.

- Good familiarity with most of the React Native built-in and popular third party frameworks, libraries, and accelerators. With in-depth expertise on most of the popular ones.

- Excellent exposure and expertise in design patterns and software design patterns in general.

- Good communication skills.

Required Experience: 0- 2 years on React Native development

Qualification: BE/ Btech/ MCA/ BCA/ IT graduate

Responsibilities and qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience
• Will own several parts of our tech stack, but primarily our Android app
• Build new functionality to the Android app and regularly re-architect it to keep up with latest technologies (e.g., Kotlin)
• Work on new tech that we are already a leading user of (e.g., Google Firebase)
• Work closely with the backend team to construct creative solutions
• Optimize, improve efficiency, scalability, stability of application
• MUST BE reliable, and be able to communicate clearly
• MUST BE able to own and deliver their own work within deadlines, professionally
• Should be passionate about building a strong engineering culture

Bonus Points for experience building high-scale applications, SDKs and other web technologies (like JavaScript).
