Job Overview:

We are looking for a high-ownership Software Engineer with hands-on experience in modern full-stack development. The role demands strong fundamentals, the ability to work in a startup environment, and a mindset to build, iterate, and scale products.

You will be working closely with founders and cross-functional teams to build robust, scalable, and high-performance applications.

Core Responsibilities

·        Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js (frontend) and Nest.js (backend)

·        Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services

·        Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

·        Collaborate with product, design, and business teams for feature development

·        Debug, troubleshoot, and improve application performance

·        Ensure code quality through clean architecture, testing, and best practices

·        Participate in deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement cycles 

Technical Requirements

·        Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

·        Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, APIs, browser behavior)

·        Hands-on experience with Next.js and Nest.js

·        Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or relational databases

·        Familiarity with Git and GitHub (version control workflows)

·        Understanding of API design principles and backend architecture

Good-to-Have Skills

·        Experience with deployment platforms (Digital Ocean, AWS, Docker, etc.)

·        Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security practices

·        Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

·        Understanding of scalable system design basics

What you’ll do:

• Customer Support: Troubleshoot and resolve customer queries, particularly around referral reports, data anomalies, and data generation using our platform.
• Data Queries (BigQuery/ClickHouse): Respond to customer requests for custom data queries, working with large datasets in BigQuery and ClickHouse to deliver precise insights.
• Onboarding & Training: Lead onboarding for new customers, guide teams on platform usage, and manage access requests.
• Listen & Improve: Collect and act on customer feedback to continuously improve the platform, collaborating with the product team to enhance functionality.
• Technical Documentation: Assist with technical resources and help create training materials for both internal and customer use.

Skills:

• 8+ years of software development experience using traditional software development life cycle methodologies (covering requirements, design, development, testing and Implementation of n-tier architecture)
• Extensive experience with object-oriented software development methodologies and practices. Strong in following technologies
• OOAD/OOPS/UML, Design Patterns, MVC, Spring, Hibernate, Java, J2EE
• UI technologies AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, java script library, Ajax and other UI frameworks
• Exposure to component model design, SOA, open sources framework/tools
• Web Services, JMS, XML, SQL& Oracle
• Must have exposed with Test Driven Development/Re-factoring ideas/ Domain driven design patterns/continuous integration/Build Automation / Data-Mapper framework/Mocks.

Good to Have: Microservices

Competencies:

• Experience in developing platforms or frameworks, components
• Excellent knowledge of the open source software/ tools/ technologies

Technical Skills : Node.js, Restful, Express, React.js, Redux, MongoDb

• Previous working experience as a MEAN/MERN Stack Developer for at least 2 years.
• In depth knowledge of React.js, Angular.js, NodeJS, ExpressJS.
• Experience implementing applications using React.js and Angular.js.
• Experience creating front end applications using HTML, React and Angular.
• Hands on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
