We are a techno-logistics start-up with a vision to organize the largely fragmented trucking industry into a virtual network. ‘iLoads’ [www.iloads.in] is our truck broking platform that enables manufacturers to directly connect with truck owners across the country instantly with assured payment while ‘Wheels on cloud’ is our dynamic resource management software to improve operational efficiency. We are looking for a high-performing business development manager to help us meet the customer acquisition and revenue growth targets for the newly launched SaaS business division. The software is a mobile productivity suite to improve the operational efficiency of truck owners in road transportation. It's first of the three products that will form the new business division 'Wheels on Cloud' inside the company. They will be responsible for maximising sales team potential, crafting sales plans and creating new channels for expansion for the Fleet product. • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the field sales team in South India • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base in fleet owner segment and ensure its strong presence • Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives • Identify alternate sales channel opportunities in the market via business partner programs to expand the out-reach of the SaaS product Requirements • 3-4 years’ sales experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have been part of technology companies that sold to the trucking market. Example: GPS • Proven experience in target oriented roles to demonstrate ability to set and achieve targets • Excellent Communication Skills in English and Tamil • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite for reporting
