Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
· Configure and manage BGP, OSPF and EIGRP routing protocols.
· Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco & Aruba switches
· Monitor and maintain the performance of the network using SolarWinds & PRTG
· Implement and maintain Palo Alto, Fortinet firewall
· Manage WAN transport, including VPN and MPLS connections
· Support 802.11x wireless networks
· Ensure high availability and performance of the network
· Collaborate with other IT teams to provide technical support for network & security related issues
· Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments
Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in network & security engineering and support
· Expertise in BGP, OSPF and EIGRP routing protocols
· Strong knowledge of Cisco switching, SolarWinds, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewall, WAN Transport, NAT and 802.11x Wireless.
· CCNP or CCIE certification preferred
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Knowledge of STP, RSTP.
· Knowledge of VLAN, ARP, Trunk ports, VRRP and Ether-Channel.
· Knowledge of Port-Security.
