Responsibilities:
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Configure and manage BGP, OSPF and EIGRP routing protocols.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco & Aruba switches
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Monitor and maintain the performance of the network using SolarWinds & PRTG
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Implement and maintain Palo Alto, Fortinet firewall
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Manage WAN transport, including VPN and MPLS connections
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Support 802.11x wireless networks
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ensure high availability and performance of the network
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Collaborate with other IT teams to provide technical support for network & security related issues
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments
Requirements:
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Minimum of 7 years of experience in network & security engineering and support
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Expertise in BGP, OSPF and EIGRP routing protocols
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Strong knowledge of Cisco switching, SolarWinds, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewall, WAN Transport, NAT and 802.11x Wireless.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā CCNP or CCIE certification preferred
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Knowledge of STP, RSTP.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Knowledge of VLAN, ARP, Trunk ports, VRRP and Ether-Channel.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Knowledge of Port-Security.
